I play mostly stars and skypoker, I can take notes there. I tend to take notes in the next hand in which I fold, where I have time to replay the hand. I'm in no hurry, but I do value notes. I don't note everything, I don't want to overload the note box with too much.
Examples... "c/c three streets with 2nd pair" or "stack weak overpair on paired flop", "chase gutshot to river"... when you see notes like this, you know to value bet the shit out of them, and to not bluff. Other times you might see them l/r AA utg... well note it, so if you see them limp utg in future, you can limp behind to nutmine with great odds, knowing that most players who l/r aces will probably have a hard time letting them go. You also know to play QQ with caution, perhaps even KK if it's a solid enough tell.
If you can't make notes, well I guess it doesn't matter. That also means your villains can't. I wouldn't move sites purely for the benefit of taking notes, they're not that valuable.
