... whilst understandable, is not a great way to treat this community.

The issue brought up has been debated for years. Clearly somehow someway things have not balanced out quite right. Hiding the issue is hardly going to improve it. Especially as that thread had some decent posts in it discussing the issue.

The details are important. Are a few selfrighteous players butt hurt over nothing? Or are important and valued members of our community being made to feel unwanted and unwelcome?

We'll never know because you hide it from us. What are you afraid will happen if the full story comes out?

Moving it, I'd understand. This is the BC, not the community, after all.

If the thread has been deleted entirely, then I guess I'm curious as to what logic lead to that decision. If there was a problem, then at least make it a point to clarify the infraction, so the problem does not occur again. It seemed like a healthy discussion to me.

Having honest discussions about who we are and where we want to be is fundamental to intentional growth.

As far as I know, the thread was removed by Dozer, who was the author of the thread. If it had been moved by another mod/admin, then I would see a problem as there was no discussion as to whether it should be removed. But being the OP, Dozer has the right to remove his poll/content at his choosing, just as others could request to have threads they started deleted.
