    Default fold quads?

    villain 21-16-6
    squeezer kinda crazy
flop call is cos who is scared of 4 outs
    thoughts?

edit to add more thoughts as per Meeloche's comment below:
note that his river bet is a shove for my 100bb stack.
re valuable reads, i have about 180 hands on him, i think he's 9-tabling, and so far he's seemed pretty standard. My guess is that he's a 6-max reg, we don't have history cos i don't play 6-max, and when i do i run into hands like his... This means that I'll be a relative unknown to him too, probably makes it even more likely that i have AAAA in his eyes. Dunno, aren't people less likely to bluff/value bet kinda thin vs unknowns in spots like these?

Wow nooooo. Why would you fold here when villain could be value potting it with QQ-KK type stuff, since the board looks like a chop.

I think it's pretty optimistic to think he's going for value with a hand like KK or QQ, especially given preflop. The betsizing makes me want to fold. 3/4 and I'd be much happier to call.

If squeezer is crazy, then its definitely possible he'd flat a hand like QQ/KK. And more likely he'd 4bet a hand like AK or AQ even.

I don't disagree that the pot sizing kinda sucks, and would prefer 3/4. Maybe I just can't fold this out of principle.

I think on boards where its perceived that the board is playable, people are more likely to bet bigger when they do beat the board.

this is a snap-call and a value-shove in some scenarios
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Why the turn check, are you already convincing yourself that quads are highly likely? Gives him a lot of river leverage to bluff.

don't fold, I can't shove cause you didn't give any valuable reads.

turning my hand into a bluff on the turn just feels kinda sick. And, yes, quads are a big part of his range. Would I check AAAA behind on this turn? sure, sometimes.

I don't get it... turn check seems pretty standard. We lose to all pairs >9x, and it's not that likely that he's c/c pairs lower than 88 here.

fwiw i think we should definitely be turning our hand into a bluff by betting 8 on turn and jamming blank river at least some %, we are now at the bottom of our range...

Ahh, 3 aces on board. After reading the thread title I figured it would either be that or 4 to a rf/sf. For example, you have T T and board is T T J Q K.

I wouldn't fold, I mean you have quads, and there's only one A left on the deck. What I don't like is your call to the 3bet with 99. You will hit a 9 1 out of 8 times, what would you do the other 7 times? if you get an overpair and the 3better preflop cbets what would you do?

    old threat revival ?

    snap call
if he has an ace, print out the hand and stick it to the wall
