If I just told you that and you agreed there would be no discussion.

I like it. He folds most of his range here a lot of the time. The rainbow flop sticks the flopped nuts in your range for playing the hand this way.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

ya I realized this when I posted it but was too lazy to edit.

Does a c/r hold a lot of merit here because we can expect him to fire this river card a lot? Meaning does he perceive us to c/r our nut hands because he feels we think he will bet this river card the majority of the time thus making it better to check than to lead with the nuts.

Since you two don't have any history you're probably getting a lot more credit than you should so your play is good for now.

Well I guess its just a question of "why not just check call" versus check raising. He's getting pretty decent odds on any river call here, 2.5:1 pretty much.

I can't tell if you're doing this as a bluff, or for value?

When he flat calls turn, there are a lot of draws in his range that all missed so c/c is fine here. There are definitely overpairs on the turn, but I think they might be priced in onthe river call anyhow.

I think his range on the river is missed draws/air where c/c is fine, or better hands that will call your raise anyhow.

    I like c/c

I'm not insane, this is a bluff, but i think your analysis is nice and surely something i considered and should be considered.
