    Was this a mistake? Seemed like an easy shove to me at the time, but on second look I had doubts. Thoughts?

    Seems fine to me, if you have a read that opp leads every pot when he/she is first in then I like it more.

    Unless villian is a slow-player push preflop, 300 chips are a nice increase to your stack.

    As played the main problem is that villian has about 1/3 of his stack in the pot, if he has any piece of this flop (FD, gutshot str8 draw with overcard, 2 overs, any pair he is probably calling you

    I think you're getting called pretty often here with the full pot bet.

    I prob just let it go.

    I didn't really mind a call here too much, as only a pair of jacks and 88+ have me in serious trouble, and even then I have many enough outs, I thought.
