That one crazy physics azn was talking about how our bodies are tuned to eat things like sugar and animal fat. How we have evolved to "like" sweet, high-energy things and to like the essentially tasteless fat of animals for n-o-g purposes.

Yes, we have evolved to like it, and to like it more than most everything else. But that does not mean that eating it in quantity is good for us. We like it so much because it was quite rare in the wild, and even long after agriculture was well developed and the standard across the earth, sweet and fat were relatively scarce. So just because our bodies crave it, does not make it good for us. More is not always better.

Boog took that role. He's currently in a Korean jail for molesting a young Korean boy. Boog is claiming that all was a misunderstanding due to the language barrier. The boy says boogs English lessen taught him yes and no the wrong way round.

OK, students put their heads down. I walk around. I poke the student who is to be "Quiet Joker." The Quiet Joker squints at students to kill. Students can ask me about students they suspect to be Quiet Joker. If students are wrong, they're dead. Three dead students, Quiet Joker wins.

I got service on my mobile in Thailand so I can't see why you wouldn't in London. I think the providers have deals set up with each other. I got a welcome text at my stop off in India from some Indian phone company and then another when I landed in Bangkok. But watch out for the cost, I tan up over 100 quid in 2 weeks and I hardly used the thing

For ages North America used different frequencies or someshit for cellphones than those used by basically the rest of the world, so if you wanted to take your phone there you had to have a fancy multi-band phone that could roll with more than one kind of frequency. I think meanwhile pretty much all phones have this capability, so the phone should just work as soon as you rock in the UK (my NZ phone worked fine in Vegas till it wanted to go for a swim in the pool, for instance).

What's wrong with Horshoe Hammond? I mean, if all you want to do is gambooool, then ya, go somewhere else... but if you want to check out a city too, the Horseshoe is a pretty decent venue.

[5:05:24 PM] Brett: MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — NASA's planet-hunting Kepler spacecraft has confirmed the discovery of its first alien world in its host star's habitable zone — that just-right range of distances that could allow liquid water to exist — and found more than 1,000 new explanet candidates, researchers announced today (Dec. 5).

No one alive today will be alive on an extra-solar planet, though. They're lol-far away. The closest star is still 3 light years away. Even with the best theoretical machine to take you there (travels at like .1c) it'll still take you about 30 years according to the guy on the spaceship to get there.

I realized an important thing today: in a personal relationship, you cannot trust insecure people like you can strong, independent people. When push comes to shove, the former will lie to you in order to maintain the security. |

Food regulations are usually much stronger than they technically need to be, but that's because we need a pretty huge buffer since people go way over the "line" all the time. |

From the standpoint of a business owner, food poisoning is a huge deal. I've only had it once myself, but it was hell. And a lot of people seem to forget or not know that diarrhea/ uncontrollable vomiting can be fatal. But back to the business owner-- just one small outbreak can ruin a business.
