Over pair with uncoordinated board, flop play?

90 man SnG, approx 30 left.

Villain was 31/2/1.4 over 48
He had been quiet since the blinds were getting large compared to some stacks and was generally weak.

I dont have a lot of experience playing SNGs...
What is my play on the flop keeping in mind that my M is short?

Trying to put this player on a range is a complete waste of time. Just know that whatever his range is, you're ahead of it. Pretend he checked and raise to whatever you would have bet if he checked.

He's betting 200 into a 2000 pot? I'm not sure what you're worried about.

His call pre flop means nothing, it's a x2.5 raise with two calls before he acts, he's pretty much priced in to see a flop with any two. We can discount the big hands like JJ+, otherwise you'd expect to see some isolation. So his range, for me, is almost any two.

You're way ahead of his range, before the flop and after it. Raise to 1500, and push the turn whatever it is. If he has something like Q7 and he hits, tough luck. The blinds are catching up with us, and this is a nice spot to build outselves a stack before we get to the bubble.

I'd be looking to get all my chips in as soon as possible.

Anyone against shoving?

If I put a bet in say 1/3 - 1/2 pot and I either lose or need to fold, then I would have to shove preflop the next time I get even semi decent cards given what I would have left in chips.

This is my preference, but I'm not against an outright shove on the flop.

Raise/fold is not an option.

probably would rather just shove if this microstakes. chances are he's an idiot who will call a shove with 22 because "he has ak...and i have 10k chips so who cares"

theres likely not much of a different between raise or shove. just make sure you never call the flop or fold the hand

In my opinion you had a hand to be strong with. But you can get beat by a lot, he could have caught a set with a pocket pair. Or a higher pair than 10's. Its never easy....
