Default [5NL] AQo...TP2K. Weird line from villain?

    Villain is unknown.

    PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    BB: $13.64
    UTG: $4.76
    Hero (CO): $6.11
    BTN: $3.86
    SB: $8.34

SB posts SB $0.02, BB posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has Q A

UTG calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.20, fold, fold, fold, UTG calls $0.15

    Flop: ($0.47, 2 players) 8 A 4
UTG bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

    Turn: ($1.07, 2 players) 9
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.75, UTG raises to $2.00, Hero ???

Wasn't sure what to make of this? First thoughts were A8/A9 because of the limp call pre, but I guess he might l/c with 44/88/99 as well, either way I have to beat here right? Villain is unknown so I guess he could be bluffing or maybe c/r a big draw?

Fold and wait until we have more info on villain?

This line is never a bluff and tpgk is rarely good here on this board texture in my experience. Think about it from villain's perspective - what does he realistically c/r in this spot that we beat given we look like Ax? I'd want to know this dude is spazzy or a maniac before contemplating continuing.

it's probably a hand like 44, that he limp/called preflop, and is C/R turn for value. The only thing that is confuse me is why he didnt CHeck-Raise on Flop

I don't know why but if I am on your place than I will call, maybe it will be Q on river and if he has A9 than I will dominate him with AQ.

I sometimes make that flop donk bet with 98s to see if you call and c/f the turn if you do. Unless 2pr.+ happens. It would be full ring too.

    Not sure if serious?

Calculate the EV's of folding, calling and raising. Compare them to see what decision is best.
