    Default Three Hands From Today

    1. Villain seems like an aggro reg. I guess my standard here is to b/f river vs 100NL unknowns, but this guy looks aggro and reps not very many combos of value. I'd definitely discount JJ leaving 88 33 22 and A2s for a total of 9 combos. He doesn't need to be bluffing missed fds or turning some pair into a bluff too often for us to call. The SB here is a pretty big fish fwiw.

    2. MP looks to be a random fish. Villain is ab aggro reg and I imagine he's squeezing pretty damn light here. Is shoving an option here with dead money? On the river I'm really not too sure what he's repping. I'm discounting Kx and flushes as I expect to see a turn bet from these hands most of the time. If he ever value bets JJ QQ Tx stuff here I don't expect it to be this big. Thoughts on calling?

    3. This could be kind of spewy. I've been 3-betting a lot on this table and have a pretty aggro image. Villain is a reg I don't have too much history with but he likely views me as aggro.

    3. I take this line for value because people tend to call, so I don't think it's a great idea for a bluff.

1+2 very interesting hands, I have some opinions but I don't think I'm too solid in these spots so I'll wait for what other people have to say

    1. i'd bet at least 16 on the turn, but i generally go in for larger turn cbets than most. I think I would fold the river, but it is gross. He reps only 88/As2s or maybe 22/33 although a lot of people 3-bet or fold those small pairs these days.

    2. I think he reps Tx and better just fine here, fold. A small bet on the turn has a lot of merit here. It's valid for protection and value vs 88/7x/2x and can set you up to bluff some rivers. And it protects you from this situation where he can basically bet his entire range on the river and you still have to fold.

Preflop I think calling is fine as is 4-betting. Just do whatever you want.

    3. Eh I'd just call the 15, I think. It's exploitable but the odds compensate well enough. You might have the best hand and he might give up. You'll probably get bluffed a decent amount on the Q. I dunno.

    Hand 1:

As you say, it only takes a few combos of bluffs for us to justify a call, and if we fold this hand, we are folding a maaaaaassive percentage, so against anyone who seems capable of bluffing here, I talk myself into calling. BTW, not sure if you're withholding reads or if villain hasn't done much noteworthy in 500 hands, which makes me think he might just be a guy with a high 3b percentage who stays pretty much in line postflop.

    Hand 2:

I 4b/c pre. There are so many hands with blockers that can't call in our range that we want to protect a wide bluffing range. Waiting for AK/JJ+ seems kinda terrible for our overall range here.

As played, again I call. His range has so much air by the river (squeezing wide, cbetting this particular flop near 100%, terrible turn to barrel) that I can't see just calling with JJ+QQ (which we're mostly vbetting on the turn)+whatever few combos of Tx we happen to have. Of course, he should recognize how much shit is in his range, so this is a bit of a leveling war.

BTW, his bet sizing is kinda like he clicked 2/3 pot and then subtracted a few bb's from it; trying to make a legitimate bet without investing too much. Since his vbet range is trying to get calls from things as low as 3rd pair, I would expect villain to go slightly below 1/2 PSB more than I would expect him to go just big enough to make it look legit. He won't always do that, of course, but it helps weigh his range a bit.

    Hand 3:

I like it. I don't expect him to show up with JJ+, and we're in a very top percentage of hands to bluff with here (we have like 12 combos of AhXo in our range that doesn't have a pair+). I like giving him the false initiative on the turn as this is a great hand to bet with much of his floating range, and with two bets left, we'd obviously much rather put ourselves in the position to shove than to give him that option. Don't really see why we wouldn't do this with a nutted hand.

Post-grunch: Agree with small vbet on the turn in Hand 2.

Hand 1 -- seems like a fold edit: but yeah given he knows we should be folding what looks like an overpair probably call.

    Hand 2 -- I'd 4-bet/GII pre

Hand 3 -- I think I'd just bet the turn
