time to move up?
Time to move up?
I've played ~260 $5 single table SNGs so far this year. I farted around for the first few months and was all over the place, but finally have TAGed up and have done quite well in the last 60 games and my sharkscope graph looks nice since game 200+. My original bankroll was $100, and I'm up to $260 right now. (I am excluding deposit bonuses from these numbers.)
I occasionally play a MTT, but my real skill seems to be in 9 person games. I'd like to move up to $10 tournaments. Does that sound solid? My worst streak so far is -8 buy ins without cashing, and that was from my donkey days.
When moving up, should I mix it up and play half $5 and half $10? I have not deposited any money since my original buy in, and I do not want to put money in ever again.
Thanks for any advice from those who have been through this before. I'll follow up in a second post with my Sharkscope graph if anyone thinks that is helpful. I'm looking for an honest assesment of whether or not my skill and bankroll is adequate for moving up. (Yes, I am a nit. But a winning nit!)
