Default AK nut line HU vs bad reg?

villain is a bad reg who somehow decided this session he'd help me start tables. He buys in for 17.50 at 25nl tables and 35 at 50nl tables.
We have very little history short-handed cos he's early to leave when tables break, my impression is that he seems to over-value weak made hands. He quit me at another table after I coolered him in a 3b pot when my JJ beat his A8s on 842 and he called 3 streets allin. This is about 30 hands into our HU experience total.

9-handed and he's 18-12 and breakeven. He doesn't raise much postflop at full tables, but does call more than most.

Flop I'm not sure call vs 3b. He's probably got an ace of some description, i mean he could out-nut my nut hand here but whatever if he does.

So, flop call or 3b? turn play if I call?

    Stacks:
    daven (SB) (25) 100bb
    BB (18) 70bb

    Blinds: 0/0

    Pre-Flop: (0, 2 players) daven is SB
daven raises to 1, BB calls 1

    Flop: (2, 2 players)
BB checks, daven bets 1, BB raises to 3, daven calls 1

    Turn: (8, 2 players)
    BB bets 4, 4.25 to daven (21.2)?

Meh A2 counterfeited, so I'll probably call turn and re-eval.

keep calling, never folding, but take your time in calling the turn

Call an reavaliate in river. IN HU the dynamics are always different

I'm no hu whiz. But if he over values weak made hands can't we 3b the flop?

thought about this. called to keep his range wider/weaker vs the risk that 3betting scares his A9 type-hands plus calling keeps any bluffs in, but, yeah, unsure = hence the post

Once the Td hits. And your confident his fl raising range has enough Acrap in it. Call turn .

    Where's the river now

got it in on the turn and he was drawing to 4 outs to split and he's stopped starting tables with me
In retrospect calling turn is better than raising though, cheers everyone
