    Game: No-Limit Hold'em
    Buy-in: $10 + $1

Each player receives $1500 in chips and the blinds increase every 15 minutes. There will be a 5-minute break after each hour. For more information and payout percentages, click on Tournament Info in the tournament lobby.

    PRIZES
The monetary prize pool and number of payouts will be determined by the number of registered players at the time the tournament begins.

    BONUS PRIZE*
First Place: FTR Logo/Slogan Baseball Jersey

(Choice of color or black logo and red, black or blue sleeves. Click image for product details.)

    BOUNTY PRIZE**
This prize is awarded to the player that knocks out the previous FTR Showdown winner from this tournament:

(Choice of color or black logo. Click image for product details.)

*If an FTR staff member (Tyson, Eric or Xianti) places highest, then the next highest finisher who is not FTR staff will be awarded the Bonus Prize. For example, if FTR staff take 1st and 2nd, then the 3rd place winner will be awarded the Bonus Prize. If a player who has previously won a Bonus Prize in another FTR private tourney wins again, the next highest finisher (non-FTR staff) will be awarded the Bonus Prize.

**If the former 1st place winner is not playing in this tournament, the Bounty will be on the former 2nd place winner (or the next former runner-up that is playing in this tournament).

Is this similar to your private tourneys, or can all the FTR neophytes join?
  4. #4
Its open to everyone. There was a post about that but I can't find the link. All you need it the above password, a pokerstars account and $11.

it is open to everyone, however, anyone that enters will be required to contribute to the FTWF (Fishstick Tired of Working Fund).

we're not currently set up to take credit cards, so just mail them to me, i'll run them through, and then mail them right back.

i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...

This particular tournament is open to anyone that visits our forums.

However, you are now a Premium Member, Aceofone. So you can play in any of our private tourneys. I'm sure, by now, you've noticed the private forums you have access to.

I always thought Phil Hellmuth looked like an Alien from the "V" t.v. series.

    Now dwarfmans avatar confirms it.

Well, we have 13 registered right now. And they are all regular Showdown players.

Do we have any other forum visitors that would like to join us?

Who is El Santo? He seems to be the only non-premium member. Any other newbies or guests want to join in? It's gona be a grand ol' time.

It's good to have you, whoever you are.

Another piece of great news. This is shaping up to be the biggest FTR Tourney yet!

Just wait a few more months. 20 ppl will seem like a small tournament.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

Just gotta congratulate Fnord for taking the bounty by knocking down maxxscam's pocket 7s, with, ironically, A Q suited.

An ace came on the flop with an 8 and a 5. The turn brought a 6 which meant any 4, 7 or 9 could win it for maxxscam.

But the river brought another ace, so congratulations Fnord.
