My read on the Hero was that this was posted out of frustration and the river could only mean he was beat by a K10 even before getting to the results section.

Just one of those chance things that happens.
But it happens more often with small pairs.

I'd just check pre for sure.

As played, I would just triple barrel. If I'm checking the river it's with the intent of c/bombing. It's more likely he limps button with hands like 8Ts,9T,JT etc, than something like QT/KT that has boats.
