Default £50NL, 200BBs deep, flatted a 3bet IP and getting barreled.

    Villain plays 20/18 with a 12% 3bet. I steal about 38% of the time.

I flat pre cos I figure I'm usually ahead of his 3bet range when he 3bets from the blinds to an open BTN raise. I flat again on the flop because I feel I'm often still ahead of his range and I expect him to give up on most turns if he doesn't improve. When he fires turn again, I may have to revise some of these assumptions.

    Thoughts on any street?

A turn barrel % would be helpful as would cbet stats for 3 bet pots.

    - agree

    - anyway it seems that vs this villain you are folding this flop almost never, so I think he will barrel turn a lot (and probably give up on river)

    Lighting sweet moneys on fire.
Not calling his huge 3bet pre with AJo 200bb deep.

Is this his standard sizing or this is LOL I HAZ AK?

I'd rather 4-bet as a "bluff" here than flat this unless I knew he used sizing like this with bluffs with a bunch of dominated shit.

agreed, especially since we aren't stealing wide in the first place.

as played, I'm probably folding turn as well. if you want to get really fancy, try a min-raise instead.

Do you ever have KK+ in your range when you flat here pre-flop? If you do not, and villain knows this then its a pretty good spot for him to 3 barrel you especially on a texture like this. Idk how good villain is though.

I don't think I like the flop float bc our hand does not have too many possibilities after the flop and our equity is bad vs the made hands in his range. I would fold the flop. I also think raising the flop is better than floating because as I said, if he is good he will barrel you anyway.

if you don t feel like folding then the best fancy play i can think of is to flat the turn and call his river shove or bet really small when checked to to get him off AQ AK.

it sucks when he has AK or AQ and you rape-call then ship the pot his way. however, lots of villains will be polarized from preflop all the way to the river here so calling down isn t horrendous. your range will be pretty well defined as TT or JJ, even QQ depending on how careful he views you 200bbs deep. he obviously setting up a big river shove with his sizing and he should know you know that

yada yada, just 4-bet or fold preflop would be my advice
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?
