Thumbs up FTR is giving away a $4,000 WSOP package!

Sorry, non-US players only... thought I'd state that up front.

    -----

complete break down and step by step instructions on how to qualify.

    -----

FTR and William Hill have teamed up to offer members new and old a chance at a $4,000 WSOP package and trip to Vegas!

    Win Your Way to Vegas

To qualify for your chance at Vegas and the WSOP this summer:

    1) You must be a direct signup of FTR at William Hill.

If you don't already have an account, click here to signup now. This offer is only valid for direct signups of FTR, new or old. It doesn't matter if you signup today or create an account 4 years ago, as long as you're an FTR player, you can qualify.

    2) Make a Deposit of at least $30

All players who want to participate are required to make a deposit of at least $30. This is for new and existing players. Even if you already have money in your account, you must make a new deposit!

    3) Earn 100+ William Hill Points by June 5th

After you make your deposit, you need to play some poker to earn at least 100 William Hill Points (WHPs) to qualify. You do this by playing real money cash games or tournaments, generating rake or paying fees. (For every $1 in rake contributed or $1 in tournament fees paid, you earn 25 WHPs so this is only ~$4 in rake.)

    4) Show up to our Exclusive Freeroll on June 6th

As long as you follow steps 1-3 above, you will qualify for our exclusive WSOP freeroll. This isn't going to be a field with thousands of random people, it's going to be a small group of FTR grinders. This will be one of the best shots at the WSOP you will find!

    Tournament Name: FTR WSOP Freeroll
    Date: June 6th
    Time: 20:00 GMT
Registration: Anytime after June 6th, 10:30 GMT
    Prizes: 1st Place: $4,000 WSOP Package*, 2nd Place: $300, 3rd Place: $100
Password: There is no password, only direct signups who complete steps 1-3 above will qualify.

    $4,000 WSOP Package

Winner of the package will receive:

    - $1,550 buy-in to WSOP Event #60
    - $1,000 for 5 Nights’ accommodation at the Wynn hotel in Vegas
    - $1,450 for travel and expenses

If you have any questions, ask in our forum: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...as-194403.html

This includes any and all documents required for travel to the destination. The winning players will represent William Hill Poker and may be required to wear branded gear. Entrants must be at least 21 years of age. Freeroll requires 10 players to be registered or it will be cancelled. If the 10 player minimum is not met, each player that qualified will receive a $55 ticket to a WSOP mega satellite. Currently running on william hill:

fr nl tables, both 10nl and 20nl, a combined total of 3 tables.

Could take me a while to hit 15 bucks of rake.

ipoker's split into two networks now, although I thought WH would be on the good side of the split

    One more week to qualify!

I'm assuming there is no cash equivalent if you win this, but can't make it to vegas for the tourney?

    Cool thanks!

I would probably do this if I wasn't potentially unable to go. Sounds like a good opportunity and pretty good odds of winning this!

I just learned (the hard way) that there are actually lots of countries Willhill doesn't accept.

    Australia
    Belgium
    Bulgaria
    Cuba
    Cyprus
    Denmark
    Estonia
    France
    French Guyana
    Greece
    Guadeloupe
    Hong Kong
    Iran
    Israel
    Libya
    Martinique
    Myanmar
    North Korea
    Norway
    Philippines
    Réunion
    Sudan
    Syria
    Turkey
    United Arab Emirates
    USA

For the eligible players, this obviously means an even smaller field, so good luck!

Just two more days to qualify! go go go!

Updated terms per William Hill: If the 10 player minimum is not met, each player that qualified will receive a $55 ticket to a WSOP mega satellite. (This doesn't mean we expect it to not be met, just posting to update the terms.)
  19. #19
Pfft why do I notice this now? Anyone have any idea how long it will take at 10nl to grind 100 points single tabling?

    Must... read... OP... harder...

(For every $1 in rake contributed or $1 in tournament fees paid, you earn 25 WHPs so this is only ~$4 in rake.)
That should be doable in two days, even at 10nl single tabling... hmm... tempted...

It's doable. Will be a long fucking grind though. Why would you play one table?
I'm the king of bongo, baby I'm the king of bongo bong.

Because I can't afford to fire up more than $30... even that's a push. I haven't got time to wait for PS roll to clear in my bank. Ideally I want to get myself into a position where I can simply buy myself into a MTT and pay enough rake to hit the target, I don't think that will be too difficult. I need to email WH first though and see how long they will give me to renew my passport should I triumph.

All players who qualified will be contacted and issued a ticket from William Hill. The FTR WSOP Freeroll starts at 21:00 UK time so don't miss it! We didn't have as large of a turnout as we hoped, but that's even better for those who qualified. If you see your WH nick name below, you are eligible to play:

    tomaszkmm
    NOSTRUCTURE
    Yo_Mr_White
    pajcka
    rickyt888

    Pokeronga
    sirconpt
If you don't see your name on this list and think you should, please contact me ASAP via email at [email protected].

    Good luck, yal!

  29. #29
This was the most likely and the easiest way to be part of WSOP 2013
