Default Empire Poker & Pay Pro

I normally play on the Ladbroke's tables (UK company) but tonight I wanted a freeroll but theirs was full. So I decided to take advantage of the Empire Poker site via one of the links on FTR.

Good news is I get a $25 bonus and I also was in the money ($2.75 - yeah!) on their freeroll this evening.

Anyway I got an email from the credit card processor (Pay_Pro) as well as a phone call to verify my membership. They are now offering me a $10 bonus to be come a preferred member with 'faster cash outs' and 'increased purchase limits' all I have to do is send then a photocopy of the front and back of my credit card plus ID.

Well call me stupid but is this legit, am I handing these guys my ID on a plate? Anyone else been asked to do this?
Rub my magic tum for luck.

It probably is legit as I have heard from several different places that this is a common practice. Even if it is, is a lousy $10 worth it?

I bet it's legit, but I'm not sure that it would be worth the hassle for $10. Pay-Pro is a very legit company associated with all the Party skins, two of which are now publically trading on the London Stock Exchange, so I doubt they're going to scam you, but yeah.
