Default Weird spot with AA 5-10

    5-10 6 max Effective stacks 1500

I am dealt on the button, There a 4 limpers to me ! I make it 50 4 all 4 limpers call so there is 200 in pot. Flop comes
Checks to me I do what?

My first reaction pot fold to raise, but then my second thought is when I get called I am usually barely ahead and when I get raised I gotta dump so why bet? Maybe wait until turn and bet if checked too on blank turn or something like that? Help

Id raise to 100 or 110 preflop probably and this hand becomes waaay more profitable.

As played yea I think a check is ok as is a bet/3bet or bet/fold depending on raiser.

i check here simply because i hate a raise. Seeing a turn makes our hand so much easier to play.

Just dont grasp why you would sweeten like this preflop with AA, thats a serious blunder. Did you expect them to fold?

    Ok, about the flop:

What are your opponents likely to hold? Some of the limpers might have been set mining with small PP and will likely fold to a bet. A "safe" card on the turn might very well make somebody a set.

A flopped set is not very likely, those pairs would likely have raised pre. A flopped straight (or set) could not risk giving a free card to a flushdraw, so thats unlikely too.

A big draw is probably your biggest worry here. 7s8s, JsXs will probably shove if you bet, and then you probably have to fold.

I would 3/4 pot this, and try to check it down if you get callers. This is a nightmare scenario, but at least you have position. Nothing indicates that the flop hit anyone so I wouldn't give a freecard to four limpers here.

hmmm didnt read effective stacks 1500. Since we are 150 deep i like a raise to 70 or 80 pre to hopefully get one caller and make it easy to get away from if a set becomes likely.

bet the flop and play the turn, checking is just like giving up when you often have the best hand

I guess it does, but what can you do? Sweetening sure isn't the right play, you don't want four callers with AA. If you raise to 100+, you can put any caller pretty easily on an underpair. If you encounter enough resistance post-flop, it should be pretty easy to get away (especially with position). It helps to know your opponents too...

More good advice on combatting setminers, anyone?

the best way to combat set miners is to have a wide pf 3betting range

    Love me for a season
how often are these guys check raising sets etc multiway in this game on a board like this?

How often would you raise any two/narrower range in this spot preflop to around 70 or 80 and repping the flop if you isolate to 1 villain?

What's your move if someone pots it postflop? any reads?

    1) Push it
    2) Get called by AK/KK who limped utg
    3) Profit

I think you have to make it 70-80 preflop at least. After 1 caller, the other limpers will call to and you get this big multiway pot.

As played I would check behind and play the turn. Indeed you are ahead often against every single opponent...but imo you are way ahead against 2-3 villains combined at this flop.
