    getting my swell on
    1) 3 bet pre, otherwise seems fine.
    2) i dont like the river shove. i dont think he is calling 2 barrels with a weak pp.

1: I guess you got 3-outed? Maybe I raise a street but meh, I'm not that bothered about building a big pot.

2: I think you need to check either flop or turn

hand 1: If he's loose (calling-wise) and he sucks I like to raise flop. Why not get more money in?

hand 2: 17/14 is not going to call preflop with many jacks and shouldn't just be cold calling 2 streets with 44-TT here unless you have a real laggy image. But If he flopped a full house you'd think he would want to get money in the pot against trips on the turn. c/folding turn seems too weak, c/calling turn seems too passive...I dunno.

I don't see anything wrong with either hand, but I play NL10. Maybe the villains are different up there?

    Hand 1

I'm reraising pre but as played I'm reraising flop. I don't like river shove, I'm calling on river in your situation.

I happen to think c/f and shove are close on hand 2. Not sure how right that is.

I think betting turn is better than checking because a blank turned so you likely can get value from TT- which you won't get on a few river scare cards.

FTR, hand 2, do you honestly think a nittag grinder is gonna call down with some stupid pocket pair? And that he'll have that stupid pocket pair enough times to make up for when he has a J/set?

Just check/fold the river on Hand 2 because this guy is definitely not going to turn 88 into a bluff if you check.

    Losing Prop Bets
Hand 1: Re-raise preflop. I'm calling the river bet and not raising because the very large river bet looks like villain really really likes their hand. AK, AA, QQ, KK all beat you, and it's really hard to see even bad players stack off with less than two pair here.

hand 2: I prefer a check on the turn and a bet or call on the river... not often are weaker hands than yours calling a bet like this on the turn. Checking also induces bluffs on the river from floaters.

hand 1: 3bet otherwise its fine. 3betting to get the money in rather that calling 2 streets and then all of the sudden raising seems much easier to get AI vs a fish.

hand 2: If your going to get AI by the river make your flop/turn bets slightly larger so worse hands can talk themselves into calling a shove on the river because its only 2/3 pot, not a full PSB. That being said Im not really happy about getting called here tbh. I think checking the turn and slowing down is better than b/b/b/ here.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Hand 2: I think this spot is really interesting, but I agree with c/f on river. I'm interested in turn timing.

    1) 3bet pre, raise flop, raise turn, dont shove river.

    2) I see why ppl are saying c/f river, this guy is a nit, but I don't rly mind ur shove either.
