    Default Trouble in SB/BB pot...

    Find that i get in trouble more and more lately in spots like these. Villain runs 23/21 with about 9% 3bet rate over about a 100 hands. Easy shove preflop? Or just fold to the 4bet?

    I said to myself i'll shove any flop with no A or K, so i folded but i still feel i played this bad.

    oh fwiw i was running 16/11 with 8% 3betting over the same amount of hands at this table

    $0.5/$1 No Limit Holdem
    4 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    CO ($80.60)
    BTN ($125.40)
    SB ($98.05)
    Hero ($122.00)

    Pre-flop: ($1.5, 4 players) Hero is BB
    2 folds, SB raises to $2.5, Hero raises to $10, SB raises to $32.5, Hero calls $22.5

    Flop: ($65, 2 players)
    SB bets $44, Hero folds

    Final Pot: $107.00

    SB wins $107 ( won $30.5 )
    Hero lost -$32.50

    Shoot!

    I fold to the 4bet preflop, since this often means hands like QQ, KK, AA and maybe AK& JJ , where you are behind too often

    9% 3bet is more then just JJ-AA + AK Golix (then again it's just 100 hands). Almost any flop will be scary when you hold TT here. I think you can't just call 30% of your stack preflop to see what happens here, so it's either push or fold to the 4bet. Which (fold) is what I'd prefer in this spot even though it's 4-handed. You're not ahead against much with TT and against the hands you're ahead that might call, it's not by much. If you think you have fold equity by shoving that might be slightly better then folding, but it's probably a coinflip at best unless you've seen him calling allins preflop with lower pairs then TT

    its 9% 3bet not 9% 4bet. i fold TT here all day without seing him 4bet weaker holdings before. and at that point i still think shove > calling 30% of your stack.

    I would shove 99+ against a 23/21 all day.

    I'm thinking AJs+, 99+ which makes this a clear shove.

    Has he been stealing your blinds a lot when given the opportunity?

    if that's his range, then:

    Hand 0: 38.719% 34.98% 03.74% 1880164 201018.00 { TT }
    Hand 1: 61.281% 57.54% 03.74% 3092847 201018.00 { 99+, AJs+ }

    narrowing his range, removing AJs/AQs/99 we're almost 27-73

    Sorry to get off-topic, but how do you know his 3-betting %?
    <SrslySirius> Hal Lubarsky, my nemesis.
    <SaltLick> are you seriously losing to a blind guy

    This is really close imo. If this is the first time he has 4 bet you I might lean more towards a fold. There are players that will 4 bet light at these stakes but not many. Since you didn't mention that you had any history with this guy I'm going to say fold and take a note. If you've played 100 hands and this is his first 4 bet I'm going to give him credit this time.

    I believe this was the first time he 4-bet me, but the table was 4-handed and we were blind battling, so this made me wonder.

    He had been fairly aggressive and trying to run the table over, with 2 guys basically giving up all the time and me the only one playing back. With all these factors i thought he surely would widen his range to like 99+ and any Ace-paint.

    Thinking back and reading the comments i feel more and more like i should've pushed, but i guess i was being a p*ssy and went weak/passive mode on him. Calling was the worst play to make here probably. Although when the Ace flopped i was 95% sure i was behind.

    @grnydrowave2: I use RealTime HUD as opposed to PokerAce. Mainly cause it shows 3Bet % and Fold to 3Bet %. And works on Cake Poker. But don't tell them that.
