    ripjohn,

Did you ask because you didn't see those other possibilities? Or are you not counting the flush or higher straights as possible holdings by the opp (and if so, why)?

If it's the former, perhaps you should avoid posting in this High Stakes NLHE forum until you are ready to play such stakes and provide productive comments/questions.

Dude please check that river to induce a bluff. As played i think you have to fold tho against most oppponents.

I think your right. I called like the station I am

yeah there is always the difference between what you should do, and what we would do, and what we would both do is CALL.

Depends a lot on who it is, I don't know this player, but I just made a call of a $300 raise on the river in a smiliar situation, the pot was then $1,500 and it turned out to be a complete bluff. Some people do crazy stuff like this, and against an unknown it's borderline but I'd make the call, against a solid regular I would fold for sure.

Bmx is right about inducing a bluff. Call as played but I guess you're either beat or splitting.

It's called the "naked 7 of spades bluff." Works every time.

Which straight flush, the 5s2s or the 7s5s? Since aces raised UTG, I'm not sure opponent would believe he had 5s2s... I mean he'd probably believe it but there might not be enough doubt in his mind to fold a boat for -- let's see... looks like about $200 more?

(PS: For those of you born this morning, this post is a joke)
