    Default so...I flopped a set...

villain is a good tag, we've been tangling a good bit, 3/4bet and stuff pf, but no majpr confrontations post flop.

    19/16/2 or something I think.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($96.80)
    Hero ($156.50)
    SB ($13.63)
    BB ($132.55)
    UTG ($141.67)
    MP ($111.10)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 4, 4.
1 fold, MP raises to $3.5, 1 fold, Hero calls $3.50, 1 fold, BB calls $2.50.

    Flop: ($11) 9, 4, 7 (3 players)
BB checks, MP bets $7, Hero calls $7, BB raises to $34, MP folds, Hero calls $27.

    Turn: ($86) A (2 players)
BB calls $131.55 (All-In), Hero vomits?

    Why are u vomiting?

Call and be happy that it was so easy to get your stack in the middle.

    No vomiting here

Just pressing really hard on the call button
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I don't get what you're afraid of here?

You think villain is pushing so hard, on a scare card, with a set?? why would they do that?

I wouldn't be surprised to see A9 here, or 108 of hearts or something like that. Definitely wouldn't expect 77 or 99 to be pushing on this card.

Isn't a bigger set all that beats you here? If he has that reload, this is such an easy call.
I started a new job so don't play much ATM, just FTP mini grind

but that's what I think he has! this is the only time I've felt bad about a set.

First thought was A9 trying to get a call from AK, AQ but since you said he seems good I think he has to have a set. He can't be putting you on TPGK with the action pre-flop, and so the AI just turns his hand into a bluff.

    Still gotta call, 2 outs.

What does he put us on then?

Yah I agree, what does villain put us on here?

The line that hero took on this flop was a very DRAW'ISH line, calling the initial bet and then flat calling the raise again. Villain probably puts hero on 56 or 108 or something like that. I don't see why he'd open push in that case.

Actually the more I think about it, the more I think BB could even be squeezing you both out of the pot on this flop, if he's any good. You both look very weak, so I think bluffing should definitely be in his range as well.

If he does put us on a smaller set (which is veeeery hard to do) then he should know that he'll get our stack on the turn regardless. There's no need for him to try and outlevel us. This is probably true if he puts us on a hand like A9 or 97 as well. I'd say semi-bluffs and also stone cold ones are a pretty big part of his range.

Call! You can still hit quads!!!!

Honestly I think you are behind pretty rarely here. A vomit is totally uncalled for.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

Guys the BB is the one pushing the action and he wasn't the PF aggressor.

I think this is a set much more than you guys are leading on. However, no chance Im folding. Your hand looks like a draw and he could have Aces up.
