you can't fold 8 in a 42 pot here (we only need to win 20% of the time now). the 2nd 6 has countered all 2pair hands he could have had. so we're afraid of 1 of 2 remaining 6's, TT and JJ. Since he can also do this with any J, I call pretty fast

Yeah you're right. It just seemed retarded at the time that anything I was beating wasn't goign to push this river.

Just bet 5 on the turn so you can shove the river.

Snap call fist pump etc

Im afraid you cant fold here, even tho you dont like your situation =)

Just bet the flop and turn to get it in sooner.

button looks passive, i go for value on all 3 streets here. I don't know that he bets the flop here very often. maybe checkraise guys that are much more aggro and you know will put you on missed overs if you check.

yes bet flop is way better to get the money in than c/r or c/c.

I value bet the flop too. But I question the idea that he's passive. We know he steals blinds half the time, and we can see that he donked off the rest of his stack on the river for really no good reason, when a fold or flat call were really the only two reasonable options. He's far from passive.
