Keeping track of pocket pairs 10-10 and higher
I have been keeping track of how well I do with pocket pairs of 10-10, JJ, QQ, KK and AA since Friday, 2/13/04. Over the last 12 days I have won 49 of the 70 hands that I have been dealt one of these hands. That's 70%.
Since 2/13/04 I have won 16 of the 18 hands that I have been dealt AA.
Now, while I know that this is an excellent winning percentage and is going to even out sooner or later, I wonder if it is making me susceptible for the future. I am now betting these hands super-aggressively and taking down big pots with them because I am feeling very good about my chances with them over the last 12 days of keeping track. I almost feel unbeatable with these hands and it is scary because I know things have a tendency to even out and once this does I will be losing large amounts of my bankroll if I keep with my current strategy when dealt these hands.
So, my question is, do I continue my super-aggressive play with these hands? Do I temper my excitement in an effort to get myself into the proper frame of mind? I guess, if it ain't broke don't fix it right now. But, I just do not want to get myself to the point where when I do start to have a bad streak with these cards I get on tilt and end up losing everything that I've managed to build up over the past 2 weeks.
Any thoughts?
