Fuck graphs. Fortunately I'm abroad so can't post my disaster month. Got doomswitched in the last week and ran 5k below EV. Haven't seen this kind of demolition for a few years. I should just have c/f all my sets on the flop and my month would have been fine.

Don't remember exact figures but I think something like -6k for the month after being up 4k. EV at about -1k.

exactly, holiday time. And then start actually making some fucking money.

Add the $575 midyear ironman, about $700 rakeback, and, meh, whatever.

Cool month outside of poker. I moved into an amazing studio/apartment/warehouse place that i fell in love with at a party. Haven't got internet hooked up there yet cos of dumbarses - but seems that this is resulting in getting the first couple of months free and no connection fee so it's ok.
I'm about to take another week off poker, then get some grind on for a while to set me up for a month of holiday in October. Bought tickets for thailand and malaysia yesterday and am well-psyched on the trip.

Did you make some clear mistakes during that downswing? I've experienced a lot more variance in the rush games than in standrad games and I haven't been able to pinpoint any bad play during my downswings.

I'd assume it's simply because rush is a lot harder to beat, which is mostly because weak players are much harder to exploit. When winrates are lower variance will be higher as a consequence.

I was both running bad and not playing my A-game which is obviously a bad combination. I was 1k under EV which is fine, I'm not mad about that but that accounted for 5bis of it. I also had 3 set over sets which I was never getting away from vs the particular opponents. I also had 3 KK vs AA which, I think if I was playing my A-game, I wouldn't have gone broke on all 3, but who knows. There were also 2 bis I lost that were clear spews/tilt.

Lol I'm never getting away from KK vs AA when I'm on a big shitswing unless I'm deep. FR is not my game though.
