Default Help my 6 max game

Starting to play a little more 6 max....villain is 18/11/3 over about 200 hands all this night. I have been running 25/13/3 tonight and he has seen me show down some decent hands. What's your river play? I think PF may be bad HU OOP too. Turn donk--what do you think? Not sure of these plays in 6 max, wouldn't try this in FR.....

Okay, different villain...19/16/12 over 200 hands.....9 AF on flop, infinite on turn/river.....I have same image as above. Is this okay? I think he will do this with any draw/PP/missed overs.

    1. Fold pre-flop. c/r flop. turn donk is meh. tank and lead river for ~$35.

    2. Raise or fold pre-flop, fold to raise. Flop 3-bet push is good.

Hand 1: I like 20-25 on the River, chances are he's not calling much anyway as he's got AQ and just wants to show down. AK/KQ are raising the turn to protect and AQ is scared of a K and all the draws so just wants to flip some cards in a mediumish pot and hope you missed. As all the draws hit it'll be hard to extract more value unless he hit too.

Hand2: I hate open limping unless you plan on 3-betting. I like the flop push.

hand 1: save those sorts of hands for when you have better position if u wanna call preflop raises.. the reason becomes clear in this hand.. playing draws OOPs sucks hard (and sc will flop a draw half the time you flop something playable), so hard to get paid when you hit and get a cheap look when you don't - I'd fold the flop as played here. After the call, lead is almost standard, river I'd bet like $30, he's not gonna pay off more I think.

hand 2: 9 AF on flop, mandatory shove.. (preflop on the other hand, ugh)

I don't mind calling PF vs a villain this tight when he raises UTG with 65s even OOP. Reason being just make the assumption in your head he has AA and play accordingly. Cause of this, turn donk=bad imo. On river I would probably open shove and see if he can lay down AK KK or AA which is likely his hand. Seems fine to me.

Hand 2: Open limping= recipe for disaster 6max. But as played your shove is good imo vs this aggro of a player. Check call is honestly fine too imo, mix it up.

I think you'd find in an equity calculation this is -EV, unless stacks are probably 150BB+ deep. You're not going to stack people everytime. I mean yes this balances out your range of only pp calling in this situation mostly, but I'm not sure how pointful that is at low stakes.

How is this -ev? You are calling here with a PP right? We are going to outplay him on later streets almost always, I don't get why if you are confident in your play you can't make this call.

Yeah but a pp makes a lock hand (11%) or misses.. a sc will have a lock hand less often (5%) but more often a draw which sucks to play OOP..
