Default Fixing some leaks - Blind Play winrates

    Hey guys,

Just trying to fix some leaks. I think my biggest spews/leaks come out of the blinds, but I have no idea what kind of winrates I should be expecting.

Over the last 65k or so hands I'm running:

    SB: -21bb/100
    BB: -30bb/100

I have no clue if these winrates are reasonable or bad or not. What are some people's winrates in the blinds, and what would be considered a "good" winrate here?

This is compared to about 26bb/100 on the button.

Also, my selfish side was hoping Sauce might chime in here as he wrote a little bit about this in a BC thread here: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...56-post18.html

Sweet, thanks for the clarkatroid post kmind!

In general looks like my BB rate is ok, but SB winrate could probably improve some.

hmm so over the past 35k hands my BB is -45BB
    and my SB is -32BB

So I'm guessing I have a lot of room to improve here huh?

    yeah a ton of room!

and I really hope that is bb and not BB

Vaks - your sample is pretty small, so you should try finding a bigger sample. But yah, if that sample is representative then there is certainly room for improvement.

Any other guys playing mistakes have some thoughts on reasonable winrates? Or where the biggest leaks might be?

My preliminary thoughts are that I'm cbetting too much after I 3bet in the blinds and get called, and also that I'm losing too much in the SB when I get called by the BB BvB.

the sample is actually 25k hands and I know it is pretty small and as of now it is hard to tell if that is representative of how I play or not... I feel like might as well try to take actino to improve it now

and it is bb/100 not BB

What kinda sample do you think would be good here? like a 50k+ sample?

and how do I improve those stats even?

    fwiw in nlhe i am playing 32 VPIP, 18 pfr, 14 3bet

    BB im playing 40 vpip, 12 3bet

and im +.45 bb/100 over 11k hand sample (from the blinds, the actual sample is 60k hands or something)
I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

This is filtered for tables with 3 or more players I assume?

    That's insane!

    yea filtered for 3+

again tho, there are a lot of hsnl regs who steal 60+% from the CO and 100% from the btn, and a lot of those do it for a minraise. so i am kind of forced to play a very wide range

vs steal in BB im 45/14, vs steal in sb im 23/16. thats vpip/3bet obv

Do you have any thoughts on button steal sizing? 2x, 2.5x or 3x?

The better you play postflop, the more likely you should lean towards smaller button opening sizes?

im not sure about six max, at fr mine hover around -20/-10 ptbb. In full ring however, blind losses always run high due to there being 3 more positions. I'd imagine -15/-7 could be possible six handed. Sauce's results are probably so good due to:

    -variance
    -shorter handed
    -beast

    Probably in that order.
