Default First 11k Hands at $100nl 5max - Stat Checkup

Just finished my first 11k hands at $100nl 5max and was able to build my roll to be sufficient for $200nl. Now, at serveral points in this stretch I ran ungodly hot, but I really think I can sustain something atleast above 5ptbb/100.

Before taking my shots at $200nl I want to make sure there arent any glaring holes in my game, or atleast what you can see from the stats.

So looking at these, what would you do different? What were my strong points and my weak points?

nice work! stats seem solid to me. One thing that stands out to me is your AF really drops from flop to river, you might not be firing 2nd barrels enough or firing too many 1 barrels (or never doing a delayed cbet or floating), and/or not block betting enough on the river. Your check/raise % seems pretty low too.

All of this seems pretty accurate to me. Im working on tightening up my cbets right now and also firing more 2nd barrels, the latter is something I have a tough time judging. I typically will fire a 2nd barrel if I missed the flop and picked up more outs on the turn, and thats really about it. The river Im really not sure about, I value bet a lot but maybe Im check/calling too much instead of blocking?

Your stats look good - nice job. People will float and play back more at 200Nl, but I think you should do ok. Don't go drastically changing things until you identify something as a leak. It will most likely be more difficult to get paid off at 200NL, so you may need to mix things up a little more if you find that to be true.

What site are you playing 5max on? Hope you have rb.

Another good spot to 2 barrell is if a Q/K/A hits on the turn, as long as you have a "reasonable" image.

And I've noticed sometiems c betting a low flop like 7 5 2 rainbow is bad when you have a loose passive and have cbet a lot - they will call with over cards or any pair then somteims bluff on the river. But if you wait til the turn, they fold more, especially if you've checked behind with good hands on the flop as well.

I dunno about the river thing, 2 seems like a reasonable AF but it comes down to if you make enough value/block bets against passives I think.

Yea, Im taking a 2 table shot right now and am planning on playing my same game for the most part, seems to be going alright.

Ive been playing 5max at the ongame network for awhile and I like it here, the game selection is good. I do not have rakeback simply because I havent settled down anywhere and have been playing for bonuses which are better than rakeback in most cases. I am planning on getting an account setup with rakeback at a room on all of the major networks.

I do this in position often but OOP I find myself rarely firing 2nd barrels

Yea, I think im cbetting with a good frequency right now and always take my image into consideration before betting.

On the river I believe I do a very good job with value bets but I honestly dont think I ever make blocking bets which is something i want to work on.

nice win rate... looks like you could defend your blinds a bit more and your fold to river bet is really high... but hey its working for you so keep it up.

ps. hows the game selection (availability and quality) at ongame and how many tables are you playing?
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

Yea, I just noticed that as well but my WtSD rate seems normal, so Im not really too sure what to think of that. Any ideas?

I have also begun defending my blinds a bit more and opening up my 3betting range is something Ive been working on.

Also, I really like the ongame network and think that Ill probably stick around here for awhile. The game selection is very good and the play is very similar to party except probably a little worse. Right now Im going to be doing a ton of bonus whoring and then once I finish my list Ill settle down at a few sites all with rakeback, ongame will definitely be one of my mainstays.

I just noticed I played you on hollywood poker. What do you think of ongame vs. hollywood? I find the hollywood tables crazy fishy.

Also, what bonus did you get for ongame?
