Default FH facing river all in

No reads on this guy with only 25 hands. I can only assign a generic 3b 6max range here I guess which would be TT+, AQ+ for the most part at these stakes (assuming ~5%) with the good regs having a wider SB 3b range vs CO. Anyone find a fold on that river?

Insane river raise by him and the only hand I think he could have there is 9-9 but I don't think I could fold I would atleast have to find out, what was the result?

he can have flush that he backdoored with AKhh, could have a hand like A3s,( this assume villain expects us to fold to 3b so he 3bs with blockers and not post flop playability), then theres QQ. if you call 3bs more than standard IP, then you can expect some JTs,T9s type hands too. given hes an unknown im going to assume he has QQ+ here. which makes 3 combos we lose to, and 12 we beat. so we win 12/15 (80%) I don't think 99 gets to river, I mean is he x/c flop? prob. turn too? meh. most regs will check flops fairly unpolarized in 3bet pots. either they have a monster(or what they think is one) or its because they whiffed and are just giving up. on Q hi board when we raise turn he has to expect us to have 99 beat.

I do call more than expected IP but given he doesn't know my stats yet I can't count on too many JT type hands.
AKhh, QQ and air/A3 type hands is what I'm thinking too. I can't see 99 getting to river either. At very worst I think we beat 4 combos and lose to 3 but can surely assign some air the we also beat so am thinking a call is always ok here without strong reads?
I did end up calling and he turned QQ.

True QQ does make alot of sense seeing as how it played out. I don't see him raising the turn with a flush draw on a paired board but I've seen way worse lol. Thanks for sharing the hand that was an unfortunate result!

He didn't raise on the turn, he led out half pot which still makes sense for AKhh (I raised there and he called).
I've seen worse too, too bad it wasn't this time!

Well I have to learn to find more folds in these situations and that will hopefully raise my bb/100 by a decent amount. Still studying/learning, that's the fun of poker

Yeah, I call on the river but it doesn't feel great. We've already put in 75 of our 148 BBs so we're getting better than 3:1.

These hands with > 100 BBs can be tough. I'm more used to tournaments where most players have < 100 BBs most of the time.

This reeks of QQ, but what can you do? You definitely can't fold here.

It sucks that he'd probably bet most of his Axhh/KJhh type stuff on the flop, so I don't think he has too many flushes. That being said, I don't think he'd expect you to rais a boat on the turn, so if he does have Axhh he should probably jam river.

Meh, sigh call, GG to QQ.

yup, can't get into the habit of folding boats when getting 3:1.
