May be, but I don't think he would bet it two streets.

    lay off the crack

so what is your plan then to call once and fold?

No, i would call because i'm a station, we're getting good odds and there allways a small chance he on some weird bluff or something.

But i'd expect to loose or split most of the time here.

do you think you get more value from value betting or by letting him bluff

also think about what each of those lines does for your overall range in that spot and what it allows you to do.

Don't know if you're adressing me or the OP. But yes i would've bet the flop probably.

In a vacuum, I think a nit is more likely to call two streets with AQ here, then bet it, and maybe some KK, QQ hands he can't let go off. But it really depends on how aggro he is...

Hmm tough seems like you should run some stove type equation here because I'd say we're splitting 65% of the time, losing 30% of the time and are good 5% of the time.

    ---

it's a call if he will cold call a 3bet with AQ even 25% of the time

additionally what occurred to me later was that AK is certainly at the top of my range when I play this way. Since it's a non standard spot I probably should be calling for that reason.

Also good job at including a stove with your answer. It still blows my mind how underused it is. Forum threads should just be about ranges, since pokerstove always gives you the answer in the end (non-strategy posts that is).

Once we check back the flop, I think this is a pretty easy call considering our range now looks like KK/QQ/Jx and only sometimes AA.

I mean, I'm not fist pumping, and I think we see JJJ a reasonable amount, but as played we gotta call.
