    Default AJ vs a shorty

This is a situation I come across shorties pretty darn often. This time I have been sitting at the table for 2.5 revolutions. So I dont have much of a read on the villian other then he is a shorty and I have no clue how he got there.

Absolute Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Absolute-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($21.40)
    MP ($36.95)
    CO ($96.40)
    Hero ($63.25)
    SB ($61.65)
    BB ($51.60)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J, A.
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.5, 2 folds, UTG calls $2.

    Flop: ($5.75) A, 6, 6 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $3.5, UTG raises to $7 Hero ?

at this point villian already has half their stack in the pot. now what? My thoughts on villians holdings. Ax, or PP, maybe 67, 56, or the unlikely 66.

I dont think villian has a six cause he would probably play it a bit slower. But not definitely.
PP is possible He might be thinking I am just stealing from the button and he is trying to see where he stands by re-raising.
Ax very very likely hence the check raise. But what are the chances He has AK or AQ vs AJ or less. Maybe A6.

    1) Do I just call and see what happens on the turn folding to a bet on turn.
    2) Do I re-raise and see where I stand, and if I re-raise I become pot comiited because of villians short stack, so I might as well go all in here,
    3) Do I just fold and not risk.
    4) Do I call and then go all-in on turn

I always shove here without a read.

its what I did, villian turned over AK. I still think I made the right move though

I give sick action in these spots and usually have the best of it.

Easy push, he's calling worse aces and all FD's and you're stacking of against his trips anyways. Folding anywhere is likely a mistake. Just push so no scare cards for villain can fall.
