Default AA, fish insta shoves river - 50NL

Fish has silverstar showing and is something like 45/10/1 after only 25 hands. He tanked for awhile on the turn and insta shoved river. I'm thinking of calling and taking note if he has me beat.

    BB ($81.25)
    UTG ($82.80)
    MP ($10.50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with ,
    2 folds, Hero bets $1.50, 1 fold, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold

    Flop: ($3.50) , , (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3

fish are gonna think that you're so FoS on this board that they're going to play back in weird/bad ways. even discounting this, though, the value range that we beat is much wider than the potential hands that beat us

I would never fold to this line, although on this board I'm not as thrilled as others.

Puke call. Rly feel like we're beat but against an unknown I'll just take that ~33% and find out.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

If the flop was 2 tone (instead of rainbow) and the river the flush doesn't hit than I would snap call.
Here, vs this villain I might even fold ... (but I'm a nit) ...

Not a fist pump but i think its a call. The draws in this spot are 46, 76 and 79. I don't think 79 would call the turn bet but maybe 46 and 76 will. Another hand i can think of is 66. Since u say he tanked it it might be 66, but he might also be thinking of making a fish call and call with any of the OE draws. Once he misses he goes into super spaz mode and ships it. I think most hands betting for value would raise turn and maybe make more of a value bet on the river.

gay/fold, Whenever I call vs a fish's c/c, c/c, open jam line on non drawy boards they have always have the nuts.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

small sample but 45/10 strikes me as pretty passive and in my experience these guys aren't bluffing the river.

Yea, I agree with the nittier players here and, at those stakes, would probably fold. More often than not I am finding this line to be very strong rather than air.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

With the amount of small stakes slow playing fish I tend not to play for 100BB's with an overpair if I cna't get a 3bet in preflop. But on this board he could be playing this with 99 or even think he's slow playing JJ or 68s 2pair. I snap knowing you only need to be right 33% of the time.

the fact that the board counterfeits all the two pairs in his range doesn't make you guys feel better about this? i can't imagine us not having 33%+ equity here

Well sure it makes us feel slightly better but you have to assume he knows this as well. This is a valid point if we're value betting the river but instead we're contemplating what to do versus a shove.

Of course, he could be a complete idiot and be value shoving 56. The lack of information plus the fact that he could be doing this with worse over pairs make this a marginal call imo.

I'm a idiot poker player and I'm calling this. Must be wrong call then. There are a ton of hands that we beat that might do this but I think more times then not were beat. I see him having the full boat.

I Think we are most likley beat, but fug it I call.

    Bringing the mind home.
Nothing about villain's stack or line makes me think he currently deserves quite enough credit for a hand to fold, but I'm not thrilled to suddenly be the one having to call because this can definitely be a strong line for a fish.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3x or 74 at all here, I feel like a lot of the time they c/c again with an 8, 99 kinda hands, but I just couldn't say that with enough certainty to fold.

I see a decent amount of c/c 2 streets and donk shove river, but I have yet to see this line with a lengthy timebank on the turn. Does that make it more or less of a call for people?

i call but i'm not fist pumping. while 40/10 over 25 hands doesn't mean much, it points him in the passive fishy direction, and that player type always seems to have a boat after this line.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

/Sigh call and never be good.

I don't think you're good often enough to call here. his stats suggest he is generally passive, these people C/C on the river with 1 pair hands, all the draws have either a pair or a gutshot now, and he'd almost always C/ decide with pairs.
