Default 50NL: TPGK on paired flush card vs huge fish

    No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    MP ($51.78)
    Button ($69.04)
    Hero (SB) ($61.66)
    BB ($10.70)
    UTG ($36.81)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J, Q
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero bets $1.75, BB calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50

    Flop: ($6) J, 4, 9 (3 players)
Hero bets $4, 1 fold, UTG calls $4

    Turn: ($14) 10 (2 players)
Hero bets $9, UTG calls $9

    River: ($32) 10 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $21.81 (All-In), Hero ???

    Total pot: $32

villain is a huge fish 76/1 over 100 hands. He seems a bit aggro on river 30%, but never seen him do this. Having said this my reasoning was that there was no value on pushing myself so the only value I would have would be to c/c river. good/bad?

i think its an easy fold. you say he hasnt done it before so give him credit, i cant see anyone doing this with air and i cant see what you beat if you call. from the flop we have straight draws and flush draws and here on the river there are both possible and also full 44, 99. my opinion just fold.

i also think betting much closer to pot on flop/turn is good here. its super connected and fish chase draws no matter the price in most cases...

i only bet smaller on super wet boards vs people who i think will semibluff/raise draws so i'm inducing with bet size.

Such tough spots when you're entirely crushed by your opponent's range. What to do? It's so hard to know what to do when utterly inhilated by your opponent's range.
