    Default 3bet pot wierd spot

Villain is a very good hand reader. We've 3bet each other quite a few times up to now, but nothing crazy. He's obviously not folding anything better on river, but can he call with worse? How's my line?

    Cryptologic
    No Limit Holdem Ring game
    Blinds: $2/$5
    6 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: $67.75
    UTG+1: $592.75
    CO: $1122.44
    Button: $610.15
    SB: $928.35
    Hero: $885.65

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with
3 folds, Button raises to $17, SB folds, Hero raises to $60, Button calls.

    Flop: ($122, 2 players)
    Hero bets $85, Button calls.

    Turn: ($292, 2 players)
    Hero bets $200, Button calls.

    River: ($692, 2 players)
    Hero is all-in $540.65

River is less than a half pot shove...

    what they said

K is perfect card for you to 2 barrel etc etc

only problem is him slowplaying a set/AA, which he can def do on board this dry
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Come to think of it, I think the bet sizing is good this way, with river being less than half pot...I'm not sure what he calls with that we beat on river, but I'm thinking he might of gotten there with JJ/QQ/AT/QT/JT and decided we're just repping the K on the turn. Then on the river since he's getting such good odds he'll be more tempted to make a hero call with those hands.

FYI he had 55 here for a nice call preflop, not that it matters really we cant get away from this hand can we?

I think Alexos showed me this hand earlier and I said I didn't like his river push. I think if it was in fact that deep... this push only gets called by better.

BUT given that its only half potish (which I'm just noticing now) I dont think we can get away from the hand here, so I like it.

I would think a level higher here.

A smaller turn bet is going to be better because it gives him a chance to peel lighter and or make moves. Then it will align the pot for a more standardy bet size on the river of 2/3 the pot. This would be an optimal size if you were bluffing. If you were bluffing and got to this point as played, you may not follow thru since its only 1/2 the pot and you figure he's committed with most of his range.
