Default 1/2 - value vs. fish?

Villain is a big fish, running 49/2/1.2 over 350 hands, down 4 buyins. He's a slowplayer, has won decent pots off me twice already at this table where I've 2 barreled good hands (tpgk and pair with nut flush draw) and then checked back rivers, once he had a turned flush, other time he flopped two pair but never raised despite a draw-heavy board.

    How much value here?

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2.00 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    MP ($304.95)
    Hero (CO) ($200)
    Button ($365.95)
    SB ($413.15)
    BB ($203)
    UTG ($245)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7, A
1 fold, MP calls $2, Hero bets $8, 3 folds, MP calls $6

    Flop: ($19) 6, 4, 5 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $16, MP calls $16

    Turn: ($51) 9 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $44, MP calls $44

    River: ($139) 3 (2 players)
    MP checks, Hero... ($132 behind)

as played Id probably bet around 60-70 on river for value. if he's that much of a fish he can still call with worse. Although from your history he's able to slowplay a flush or 87 here he can also be check calling down with worse.

    turn bet seems big tho.

I think i would bet here for a couple of reasons.

!. I don't wanna lose value against the fish.
    2. He probably has a bunch of two pairs in his c/c range.
    3. He might switch up his play with his value range oop to you after the given history.
    4. Since you have the Ace of diamonds, the nut flush which is probably part of his c/r'ing range on the river, is not possible.

I would probably ship it or bet like 45-50. Id ship it to try to get him to fold out his chops, or id bet small to keep in the weaker part of his c/c'ing range.

Well, you got incredibly lucky (maybe), but ask yourself why you are playing A7 unsuited at all, much less raising it? Most limpers are ahead of that garbage, and if not, their hands have playability which A7o completely lacks. You're gonna burn money that way, regardless of position or the results of this hand.

This post shows some serious misunderstanding about the value of position and what sort of range people are limping with. It is incorrect to say that preflop isn't a profitable play here.

As played I'm with Alexos except i would put up a sale sign and bet 29.95.

tstrout is a troll imo, it's impossible to be wrong every single time so drastically. Even fish say correct things by chance at least SOME of the time.

I'd bet like $46 and expect him to never fold 2 pair or sets to it.
