Default 1/2 - QQ vs. unknown slightly deep

Only have 22 hands on villain, he's running 29/14 and hasn't 3bet yet. Easy fold? Thoughts on pre and flop?

Well definitely not easy fold. I'm calling here almost always. If it was 100bb I'd prob just shove.

i think it's a fold on the turn based on description and the size of the bet looks like he's getting ready to happily shove the river.
    Family Cruise IMO

    Yah I'm with this.

Rav - I think he can not only be bluffing, but definitely value towning himself or betting a hand like KhJ or AhK or something here.

    Lighting sweet moneys on fire.
I don't think a weak player would valuetown himself here. I think both folding and calling are about as good. I have a slight preference for calling down.

Why not 4-bet him pre-flop and get him in line, or raise his flop bet to do the same. You put yourself in guess mode while praying not to see an ace or a king on each street (or a heart). After the flop, there is only one card you are hoping to see on the turn Qc, not even the Qh. Your hand basically can't improve, so you need to bang his flop bet and find out the truth.

are you advocating raising the flop for information then folding to a shove?

I think your villain is likely to play more str8 up here being 150bb deep. I think the river is a fold. I play like you until river & would shove over on the turn with QxQh.

Thinking out loud on preflop: 4betting sets up some pretty small SPRs, but calling IP creates SPR of 10 and that sucks too for a one pair hand. Position may compensate though. I'd like a read, but I think I flat and trust my postflop game. From 50NL perspective I rarely see worse than QQ 5bet shove over pre 150bb deep in this situation.

I'm very interested in seeing others responses here.

Correction: I'd call and call any non heart river besides A and K.

I'd 4bet pre since he 3bet so small, for obvious reasons.

as played i feel like its a call on turn and a fold on this river.

turn is close but we don't have enough info to make it a fold imo
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

well played now fold. Pre is fine.

I'm not advocating folding to a shove on the flop. I'm advocating committing to the pot and letting him know it. He could easily shove worse than QQ. This hand was played scared, and scared rarely wins.
