Default [50NL] 99...BB vs SB. Interesting river spot

Villain is 33/24 over 885 hands. ATS from SB 45%, 71% CB.

Had been a lot of blind vs blind 3betting/4betting, same w/ BU vs blinds w/ me and villain. Villain is capable of double barreling w/ air blind vs blind

    PokerStars - $0.50 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
    Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

    MP: $59.95
    CO: $4.74
    BTN: $50.00
    SB: $190.43
    Hero (BB): $59.08
    UTG: $65.01

SB posts SB $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.75) Hero has 9 9

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.00

    Flop: ($3.00, 2 players) J 5 3
SB bets $2.00, Hero calls $2.00

    Turn: ($7.00, 2 players) 8
SB bets $5.00, Hero calls $5.00

    River: ($17.00, 2 players) 9
    SB bets $30.00, Hero ???

Thoughts? One of only two rivers I'm calling as original plan was to call 2 streets only, then I hit my set and he bombs...

Definitely calling turn on double flush draw multi-gutter board. I would fold the river because it makes no sense for him to overbet anything but a value hand here. You'll have a flush like 15-20% of the time so it doesn't make sense to overbet value with worse than a flush and I don't think you'll see a bluff here often enough. Basically, IMO you'll have enough flush and flush blocking hands to make the calldown here without being very exploitable, and I don't think he's out to exploit you that much anyway with his idiotic line.

I think that you have to go fold. However, there is a big possibility to villain have straight or flush. I know that three nines is hard to throw away, but I think that going fold here is the right move.

I'd 3bet pre against this guy at least. Def call turn. I'd often raise even, but only if there's a dynamic that I feel I can read well.
