i personally like leading this turn instead of C/R. what other hands will you C/R this turn with? Unless villian is getting out of line, it seems like none except a full house.
how much and why?
because you're obviously ahead and it might have improved his hand. you will very rarely be up against a better hand here.
I don't like your bet on the flop, it's...
on a side note sparx shouldve obv pushed turn if he's calling flop. im definitely moving to ps 10/20 after see'ing this hand.
this thread is old but i know this player well, he's a A+ LAG. probably the best 5/10 player on party.
I don't read much into his betsize, as i'm sure he changes it up with which hands he does it...
i dont think this is true, people bet/raise turn alot for cheap showdowns
that seems silly to me, if they are doing this they should be exploitable players. it's pretty much just the same...
How many times do you try to bluff someone who check-raised you? Id call that pretty dangerous..
all the time when they check-raise and give up with a weak marginal hand that they don't...
hand 1: ok, but what are you representing? would you really play a strong hand like this on this board? he may fold if he has nothing, he may fold if he has something, but this seems like it could be...
no, if he's raising a king on the turn he's going to bet the river with it.. and it does get another bet out of him if he's bluffing. You really think AK pops this turn and then checks behind on...
I like check calling this river better personally. You do have to fold if he raises.
This is a tough one since it's full ring. The part that gets tricky is that on the turn you're representing an overpair, so you would always (almost) check call river here. How often are you bluffing...
I didn't read others post Iwind, but I'll give my thoughts. Firstly, you have a great image for this, you don't get out of line too often, and I have not caught you making very big bluffs like this...
I think betting this river is very bad....
fold everytime based on the line. easy read of QQ.
if he bet the flop there would be absolutely no way to get away from this hand. His line was weak.
whats a decent win rate at these certain levels over that many hands?
5PTbb/100 is good. to play 1000 NL it would be a bad idea to build the roll you need through sng's. Just find a...
it's pretty bad for villian to not raise a set on this flop. any heart ,6,5
is going to slow down me down significantly...
and yes i know thats what I beat, But the way the villian played his...

A lot of what I do at the tables comes naturally from playing so much poker and reading so about so many hands.. My call on the river was completely thought out, and not a "tilt call". My raise on...
well the percent that "im sure" is just BS. I've heard from other players that this guy is goofy so I guess a call here is ok. Maybe I see busted spades here some of the time, maybe a split.
probably true. I shouldve raised to 550-600.
I think it would be +EV if I put him on that range, and -EV if it's larger right? If I hit my set I'm most likely stacking him, and if I'm not then I need to learn how to bluff in situations that he...
I agree... I would push river as well.

If he bets out I may consider pushing then, as you have more fold equity, and I would see it as a blocking bet of sorts, as it doesnt make sense for him to play trips like this. giving a free card,...
I guess it depends on how often the opponent tries to keep the PFR honest. Many players like to call the flop with any pair, and then check down or block bet river. If he's one of those I will always...
