I'd check hand 1, What would you shove for value there? Kx ss? And agree that SB can easily have a hand here, maybe even a hand like 10's which he will C/C because he is scared of the K if he's bad....
That's exactly what I thought, was going to put money on Cain before I read those.
I think Cain should be a decent favourite vs Overeem though, I doubt he has the scrambling ability and TDD that...
passion rules reason, unfortunately.
I agree with P4's here in that it's an easy fold, especially if he has even some capability to ask "What does my opponent have?" which he likely does with those stats, albeit over a small sample.
Given that you rarely get action apart from when villains have QQ+ having a very polarized, bluff heavy range would be best until they realise (if ever) and then adjust, at which point you can just...
You get the ball to Rooney, you think something can happen, who else in the England team can provide that (apart from Gerrard)? He didn't have a good euros, but that's being results orientated....
Congratulations Massimo!
Agree w/ call turn, call river, I don't know if I'd have a raising range at all here on the turn.
You may as well have air, rather than QQ if you aren't going to put any more money in if you 4B to $40 and villain continues. You're basically turning it into a bluff, in which case you may as well...
Villain's raising range >>>>> QQ >>>>> Villain's calling range.
I'd prefer to call the flop raise then put in a 3B personally. You'll gain a lot more information about villain's range on the turn,...
I probably lean towards a call more often here, due to your position, and the fish being likely to come along. I'd prefer calling the flop too, with the fish in the hand. I guess you're towards the...
There won't be any more hard decisions if you call.
I'd call, you'd be surprised how often this is a bluff.
What do you think his checking back range is on that board? I'd assume it's stronger than his betting range considering he 3b's 16%, also, what's your value range here?
:tc::7c:
It certainly can't be ruled out, but I at least give him credit for "What does my opponent have?" in which case he'd consider stuff like that bluffcatchers (not that he knows what it means, but just...
I'd bet the turn bigger in hand 1 - you're still getting called by 5x and draws, and I'd be snap folding to the minraise.
Hand 2 I'd play the same, apart from betting slightly bigger on the flop.
Considering he opens 56% and doesn't really fold to 3bets He probably gets to the turn with ~40% of hands, without a read to say otherwise I doubt his value C/R range includes anything less than AQ,...
+1 to Russell Kane! I've been to see him a few times, one of my favourite lines from him was "They used to call my Grandad Spiderman, because he couldn't get out the bath."
Fortunately, yes. Just rang the bastards up, and they are shipping me a new one tomorrow!
I've got two Dell 30" 3008WFP monitors, and one just stopped working last night. Just shutting my computer down and when I tried to turn it back on this morning one of the monitors wouldn't come on....
I would agree, but if he's at all capable of turning hands into bluffs, I'd expect him to take the opportunity in the first hand, given that, I'd expect him to check back any hand with showdown value...
Probably C/F unless he gives you ridiculous odds
Why? You think he's capable of using Jh or Th as a blocker to the nuts and bluffing with it? He's obviously never doing this with worse for value...and our range is certainly very Ah heavy.
