I don't think a fold was correct. I've seen a lot of people play over pairs just like this (especially J's or 10's). I would have bet 1/2 pot on river and fold to a raise.
I think he should have just called your river bet. I assume he checked river to induce a bluff bet. When villian reraises, he's only getting called by hands which beat or tie him.
There was this guy on Bodog who used to shove AA and KK preflop EVERY TIME he got them. He did this for months (if not longer) and still got callers about half the time he did it. He was doing this...
I'm still laughing. My favorite is #5.
I aknowledge science. Science is real and repeatable. You don't have to take a survey or get consensus. Everyone agrees because the same experiment produces the same result everytime.
The...
You're welcome. I'm glad I can amuse you.
The global warming crowd ignores data which doesn't support their beliefs and shouts down anyone who disagrees.
The earth goes through warming and cooling cycles and we as humans are arrogant to...
Wuf, at some point, you're gonna look back at this and laugh.
The mass hysteria of today isn't any different than the mass hysteria of the 70's fueled by pop media. The only difference is the...
Was Carl Sagan a scientist? I can't remember, he was so boring I think he was.
He was on a PBS show "Cosmos" in the 80's claiming next ice age from pollution.
Is anybody here old enough to remember the 1970's?
The theory in the 70's was that CO2 was going to bring about the next ice age. I was only twelve, but I remember reading about it in Time or...
That's a better winrate than I had when I was playing .10/.25, but like everyone said, you might just be running hot.
What software are you using? PokerTracker or Holdem Manager?
Try Tiger Gaming. I used to play it before they quit letting Americans play.
It's been a long time, but I think they had 2NL and also had a small initial deposit bonus. Also seemed very fishy.

It's rare that i would agree with wuf, but he's right.
I can't do it, but there's lots of people who play 16 tables.
That's one of the funniest videos I've ever seen.
Good point.
Give me back my 5 minutes. Dreadful dreadful dreadful.
No, Wilbur and Gator came out on the same day. Wilbur was killed that night. HS claimed to be the Vig the next day when Gator was still in and obviously the next target.
I thought HuntingSalmon's strategy was clever. It was painfully obvious that he was a villager, so it was believable that he was the vigilante. It looked to me like he was trying to draw the wolves...
I think the new one posted today is the best one yet.
Concrete blocks, one under each leg of the bed. It will cost you every bit of $4 to $6.
So what's the purple puppet thing on the top of page 6 and why does a double amputee smoking a cigar beat it?
I'd fold. I think you're right. The overbet seems like he's trying to protect a decent hand against flush drawing odds. If you call and any heart hits, your action dries up anyhow.
Bodog only has one 10PL table and there is typically one shark sitting there all by himself waiting to pounce on the unspecting fishies.
