Thanks all.
Hey folks
Played this hand last night. I have 35 hands on villain so nothing to put much weight on. He seems fishy. The board is super dry so i think Villain can find a call on the turn with some...

17 hands on villain and i haven't seen him showdown a hand yet. Is villain's donk on the river here missed JT and fds enough here to find a call? I have shown a lot of strength on a paired board....
Villain is 21/16/20 3bet, 46% AttSteal, 37% fold to cbet, over 114. Seems to be aggressive pf but haven't seen him do anything crazy. Small sample size.
I think 3bet here pf is standard. Yes?...
Against QQ+, 77, KQo, KQs, and all possible Ahxh we have 50% equity.
bet/(bet+pot) is 11.77/(11.77+14.08), which is 45.5%.
This is a +EV call.
Give him less Ahxh, eg just Ah9h and we improve...
I am terribad so can you explain the reasoning here? Bet smaller to keep him calling with a wider range or so we do not pot commit ourselves betting the turn and facing a c/r or a river donk?
...
If we put ourselves in MP2's position and we open 88+, ATs+, ATo+, KJs+, KJo+. Against a 3bet from lp and a call from a relative unknown in the BB is it a mistake to flat with KJs+, AJs+ and set farm...
Villain is 32/30/0 3bet over 276 and has shown to be pretty loose pf but can find a fold to aggression post. On the fly i figured i had greater than 50% equity to his donk. I have 48.6% even against...
I only had 18 hands on BB, so nothing reliable. He was 18/6. Hadn't seen a hand of theirs go to showdown.
So we are ok getting it in here to turn raise or river donk seeing as we are weighting...
Hey folks,
9000 hands into 10NL and showing an ok win rate. Every man and his dog seems to 3bet in late position and from the blinds.
In this hand i turn kk into a bluff catcher. Was this ok or...
Yeah valid point. I didn't because villains fold to PF 3bet was so high. My thinking was that i am so far ahead of his range why chase him off?
Really good read.
These two hands both occurred in tonight's session and this post came to mind. Each hand is the opposite end of the scenario.

My level one thinking can not get passed the fact that while yes the % ROI may be higher for $11 at 60%, i will still make more money in 100 hands with $23 at 55%.
I would rather $23 with 55%. In 100 hands I am winning $1265 (55*23) and losing $1035, which is $2.3 per hand ((1265-1035)/100). $11 at 60% we are only winning $2.2.
Villain's stats - 21/20/33/67/15.5/38/100
Disregarding the hand, I am not sure i follow the logic in your assumptions based upon his vpip/pfr. I would be looking more at his post flop AF for...
Thanks mojo.
Morning. Posting a couple of hands i won or lost last night.

Villain is 39/17 6 3bet and 17 Squeeze 347 hands. Observed 3betting range is TT+, AQo+, AQs+.
CO is a solid...
I don't like calling pf at the risk of others coming along. Ak is going to play poorly oop multiway. I don't mind the 3bet if he steals from the button significantly. Before we 3bet we need to be...
Sorry, post flop
@davidem I check/fold to pretty much any bet size. Villain is a calling station PF and is rarely aggressive. He is oblivious to what i have. He is checking behind here with worse K and second pair. I...
Hey Daviddem, thanks for commenting.
He may well, i guess i am biasing his play style with mine. To him i am on a draw or TP, which he crushes if he is on a draw with over cards. I'd expect him to...
Thanks for commenting, you will find the range i put him on in the op. You actually quoted it.
I was leaning towards a c/f here. I didnt think i was getting much more value on the river with a...
Villain is tight, 12/8/2 TotalAF 3, TotalAFq 42.
