UTG's range should be enough to make this a fold.. Especially if he hasn't been involved..
don't wanna blame him out of nowhere but he might be a bot.. there are some bots around..
hand 1 - It's not close because you don't have FE here. It's a big fold even if he's raising 25% of hands. Also fold if he's raising 25% and calling with 18%..
hand 2 - EZ call
hand 3 - same...
I don't have reads on the opponents of course but if I give %9 to dealer 9% to SB and 18% to BB then A8s becomes a 0.24 push.. A7s is a thin +ev push also which can be avoided though..
Are my...
I think you are ahead of some queens, flipping against some draws and way ahead of some stupid draws. I shove..
A6 is dominated to 66 so it's out. J7 is actually a slight underdog against 66 but in this situation one of the 6s is out.. I'd go with J7 or a tie
you're right sorry.. definitely bet/fold the turn then..
I think KT,KJ,KQ, QJ, QT, and some sets are possible.. you're not ahead of much so I would give up on turn.. calling is bad in such a situation when you also don't have position.. you'll get too...
As played I would fold..the A is just too scary..
flop discussion.. let's say you check the flop
1) he has nothing and checks back, you gave him a free card to probably two overs..
2) he has...
I fold this pre from this position.. is it too bad?
As played it's pretty hard and read dependent.. No mistake either way IMO..
I think 44 is weak here.. Definitely not A9 since there is AK.. Not 78 because there is QJs.. I think it all comes down to AK or QJs.. I think I'll go with QJs because one of the Aces is out..
if you're playing on full tilt then it's obv. AKs..
Just kidding..
I pick AKs for the reasons above..
I shove this pre-flop if the re-raiser is not a known reg.. They re-raise with lots of hands.. don't be surprised to see even 88-99 here..
It depends on you.. If you feel you can still play your A-game comfortably and not get effected by swings, 50 is enough.. I get too nervous so I go by the 100 buy-in rule..
good job man.. hope you keep going..
why?
No point in doing that when stacks are even..
I would just call pre-flop but this is fine as played..
I think your re-raise pre-flop accomplishes nothing except getting the pot bigger which is a bad result for you.. I would either shove or call, probably just call since there are 2 very small...
you can shove it because 225 would be a nice addition to your stack but actually I would play the same way you did.. NH..
Also if you have the guts, you can raise big and just shove any flop...
the pot is 1/6 of your stack so you can probably shove this profitably.. any reads on the limper would be good though..
I would definitely fold pre but Tai probably did want to use his position which is also not wrong.. that's why I only commented on the post-flop..
they don't have to play that loose at the bubble as their stats show.. I think they would be calling tight so I'd shove.. but you're right..
shove > fold > raise
I would call.. he might be trying to steal the pot here..
I might also just shove pre-flop.. Even though it's 15xbb, that prevents people from shoving over in which you'll have to fold..
why wouldn't you bet with JJ? Is it so strong and not vulnerable?
At this level I bet this to protect my hand.. Also at this level you can get value from weaker PPs..
I would take the free card against two opponents but semi-bluff against just one player.. As played turn check is good obv.. On the river I would just call because you're getting really huge odds...
