A couple random points/observations/whatever:
1. I was impressed with Boost's correct and sleek use of the neither+nor combination from earlier in the post.
2. Just how common of an occurence is food poisoning? I have read into it and the dangers are obviously legit but based on personal experience...
if we average 3 meals a day (historically I have probably averaged 5, at least) that's ~1000 meals a year. I'm in my 20s so say conservatively, I have eaten 25,000 meals in my life. Included in this are countless instances of eating food left out at parties, undercooked burgers/chicken, etc etc. and yet I have never gotten sick from food in my life. I have to imagine, for evolutionary reasons, that the human body can deal with bacteria in the digestive tract pretty effectively. Of course I may or may not be taking too little consideration of how many people die from dirty food/water.
I was somewhat reminded of these points when watching my friend eat several day old pizza that was never chilled after delivered and he says he does it all the time. Fake cheese ftw?
