It's 8am, I've been playing all night long. There is still a huge whale with a deep stack on the 20/40nl table. I was deep too. But this is enough, i'm exhausted.
I won 33k today.

As for cash games, the road has been pretty choppy since that huge day, ive pretty much broken even. I started out shooting for a 100k month but that's unlikely to happen at this point, since I have about 40k to go with 12 days left.
Here's a fun hand from today, don't take this line with AQ imo:

It's hard to stop loss and I used to be really bad at doing it. Cause you always wanna make your money back. But in reality, it's probably always best. 3 buyins might be too small, but 4 and at most 5 is reasonable. Even if its only a 30minute break to clear your head and comeback, it's probably enough to avoid a big tilt.
You know who suggested I stop loss in the first place? It was a very wise man who wins lots of moneys.....

Truth is, i feel like my vids would suck. I also have a few stalkers reading my blog that are also crypto regulars, and I wouldn't want to teach them how to win at 7ptbb over 200k hands, imo.Quote:

Damn right, GO MONTREAL!! Give it to me when I make my return to Australia? kthx..Quote:

Finally running good again, +13k today and catchin up on allin EVs slowly. Here's to running hawt!
I'm also getting lessons from a sick poker player in the next few days. I've never got coaching and didn't really need it up to 5/10, but I'm sure its worth the 500$/hr if it helps me improve different aspects of my game that will help me beat 25/50+ next yr.
awesome fold
Our session starts Friday, don't be late. I may have to bump the rates up to $750/hr after this week though so enjoy.Quote:

So you're getting 2:1 essentially if we assume that UTG will come along after you so you need 33%.

I just had a ridiculous session, filled with tears, and pain, and agony, frustration.... but somehow managed to turn things around and managed to profit. Weird. I think play 6 tables + HU and shorthanded tilts me soooo much. I mean, no wonder why HU poker is sooo profitable, you're so prone to either DESTROY or get destroyed, unless you have incredible control over your emotions.
All is good, gn peepz!
Sorry I was busy with that durrr match... I was owning him too hard to leave it! Maybe I can coach you today or something?Quote:

Get sucked out on a cpl times and then I decide to play some 20/40 soft game with fishes and lose KQ vs AQ on Qxx flop for a stack. Somehow I lose 9k and back to zero for the day!!. So tilting to work your ass off for 6hrs then lose it all :) I feel like it always happens, and WE KNOW it's gonna happen, but we still do it and HOPE it won't happen. But it does, it always does. So don't move up to chase losses kids, it WILL happen.
In other news, I've tried making a vid today but I'm really new to this and feel like I'm not quite sure what to talk about. I think that having a certain topic for the vid helps, so maybe I'll try that next time. Anyways I'll keep on trying and eventually I'll post the vid here when I'm satisfied with it!!!

Can you elaborate (if you are willing) on the benefits or perks that these coaching sites offer their instructors? It seems like they would be unable to give fair compensation to top notch players, especially given that they are already making so much playing poker...
I'm not sure what they pay the instructors, but the high stakes guys have a piece of that company so that makes sense. I'm just offering my coaching services through CR to get more exposure, I'm not making videos or anything like that, so no perks for me :) They take a small cut.Quote:
