Needs to get those big ass hands of his up.
Work imo
lol how do you fight that? That dude is beating the dreams out of that kid!
Just realised some fighters wear trainers, would tilt me if somebody wore trainers kept standing on my feet or w/e
where can i watch a stream of the fight tn???
i think this'll work http://azsportz.blogspot.com/Quote:

If the ring becomes smaller, 16-1 records will less frequent than they are now. Title holders will have a harder time maintaining their championships. Decreasing the intellect requirements and increasing the aggression leads to a higher variance in results.Quote:
Dave Doyle tried to get the scoop about a potential UFC-WEC merger during a recent Question and Answer session with UFC President Dana White, but instead received this,
DD: Would the WEC fighters lose something if you moved them from the smaller WEC cage to the bigger UFC Octagon?
DW: Actually, we’ve been talking about making the Octagon smaller. We’re considering making it smaller. [UFC matchmaker] Joe Silva wants it. I think he wants to turn the thing into a [expletive] bathtub. Have them fight in a little tollbooth.
Makes for a more entertainment though.
and that's all they care about

Cro Cop during his hey-day made grown black men cry.
Aoki was sick. Really looking forward to him fighting Melendez
Ultraeem's new nickname is Can Killer
pretty sure i could take him
http://i50.tinypic.com/29aqhbk.jpg
classy.
I was impressed when Overeem crushed Badr Hari with K-1 rules last NYE. He'll be another in line to get crushed by Fedor and I doubt he'll do much else in MMA though.
Aoki has a lot of pride in being the Dream champion. From what happened building up to the fight I can understand what he did what he did. As far as if he should have done it or whatever, I don't really have an opinion.
Not sure if anybody's been following this, but it's some pretty awesome MMA internet drama
Scroll down to read Sean McCorkle's post
http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma....1585238&page=9
Cliffnotes: Sean McCorkle is a badass
Tiny Norton is a fatass dicktuck who got his ass beat by McCorkle but won't stop calling him out. He recently pulled out of a scheduled match for made up pussy reasons, has begun trolling the board with accusations that McCorkle is ducking him, and has the apparent IQ of a sandwich
Hilarity ensues. Lot of story invovled, but the best part is basically McCorkle's smack down ownage on that page
Lashley will destroy the clown
Herschel looks amazing, probably similar favorite like Pudz was over Najman
Robbie Brawler might die
Pulling for Marloes, but no way she doesn't get smashed by Cyborg Mantos
Diaz/Zaro really only tough fight to call. I think Zaro is being underrated, and a lot depends on how capable Diaz is of taking it to the ground (or if he even wants to) and how good Zaro's striking really is. At first I thought the line on Zaro was fantastic, but not entirely sure now. Rooting for him though. Love this HL and hoping for more

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU Manhoef! Still wins this 80% of the time. Apparently, MMA is still strategically underdeveloped enough that finishes often come upon super specific holes. Like Mir vs Kongo, Marquardt vs Maia. Fucking Melvin. Maybe when he drops his hands its because his ground game sucks, and it looked like he simply just misjudged Brawler's range.
Mantos needs to lose. A chick that looks like Mark Coleman as the face of women's MMA will not go over well in mainstream. If Marloes did as much tren as Mantos she wins that fight
wow coleman really looked his age, nothing to offer.
lol @ tito at the end.
You just got knocked the fuck out
bump!
ps Velasquesz knockout was sick, the guy seems like a right beast
Melendez gonna win. Can't sub Cesar Gracie guys, and Aoki is a teensy bit overrated while Melendez is underrated.
Poor Shields getting fed to Hendo. Hard to root against Hendo, and don't really want to, but Jake is underrated and it would be mildy interesting to see him get the W. Won't matter though since Jacare isn't losing for a very long time. Eventually the MW superfight people will be wanting is Jacare/Andy, but that won't happen since they train together
Mo gonna beat Mousasi and fanbois will cry. Mous is like Fedor: great, well-rounded, and finds a way to win. But also like Fedor, a bunch of his wins come after exploiting a weakness. Jacare upkick was flukey, KOing Babalu on feet isn't the toughest thing in the world, and if you can outlast Soko you win in latter rounds. New MMA talent are underrated because fans don't understand talent pools and that the level of up and coming talent in MMA exceeds that from previous years. Mo gonna come in very dangerous and talented
M1 has been confirmed to be ducking Smashereem. They should too, since their investment relies on Fedor remaining undefeated. Expect him to take only stylistically safe fights even if it completely contradicts their rhetoric. Hopefully, Uber/Barnett happens in Dream 13 so when M1 clamors for a Barnett fight after Werdum, they look silly with Barnett coming off a loss to the Uberknee. From an analytical standpoint, Uber is arguably the current #1 HW, but don't tell that to people who only care about false dichotomies and W/L record
Won't be surprised when Andrea Arlolski comes in against Big Foot with new awesome fervor. Hopefully, Rogers doesn't get Murdereem'd too badly that he can't provide Arlolski with the chance to actually show up to their fight this time.
Bisping got clowned by Wand. 10-8 final round, arguable 10-8 second round.
Hardy better smash GSP. Unlikely, but if he's learned his 10th Planet shit then getting taken down isn't as big a deal as it usually would be.
Soto schooled the fuck out of Joe. Loved his use of rubber guard. I guess fighters are beginning to realize that a solid top control game in MMA where GnP is allowed is not beaten by an unaggressive non-controlling guard
Expect Machida to not make the same preparation mistakes and have the same problems as before (like broken hand). We could very likely see him shutdown Shogun's entire game this time instead of just the takedown attempts and mainly the head strike battle. Part of me wants Shogun to win, but given the massive underrating Machida gave him the first time around, I don't think that's likely.
Marquardt was obviously overrated. He exploits a hole in the stand up game of a grappler and somehow that makes him the guy to dethrone Andy. Chael isn't any better though. Maia is a threat to Andy if he focuses entirely on super aggressive and dynamic grappling. Plz to be heal soon Vitor. Andy/Vitor was supposed to be the fight of the year
I want few things more than Honkey Kong getting smashed, and that smashing coming from Supermir would be the greatest source. I became a Mir fan when he realized that he's gotta get on the tren if he wants to compete with somebody who can beat him simply by grabbing and twisting.
Tough for me to call the Carwin fight though because he's had so much training time since his last fight, and serious holes that somebody with his level of skill could plug with that training. But as always, Dana and Joe have the inside info, and their job is to make money off of building talent, and they were clearly feeding Carwin to Honkey Kong. Mir knows how to sell a fucking fight, and Brock/Mir 3 would be chang chang so expect Dana and Joe to have set Mir/Carwin up because they think Mir's gonna win.
Wouldn't be surprised if Cain doesn't fight again until title. Dana really wants that Mexican audience. Can't see him making Cain vs JDS if Junior beats Zaga, but maybe if he thinks Cain has the advantage.
I really really wanna see Nick Diaz vs GSP
Mitrione/Simba is the easiest fight in history of fights to call.
Can't wait for Duffee to get back, and for McCorkle to get down to HW.
Crocop getting fed to Barry. You can tell because Barry is talented, entertaining, and appears like he could sell a big fight well, and Dana would not feed him to CC in order to build CC. Dana would obviously love a CC run, but probably thinks that ain't gonna happen again. I remain skeptical. I don't think CC has lost heart or talent, what he's lost is easy opponents and his ability to be ridiculously one-dimensional and still win. He appears to have made some important changes to his camp, but still not likely nearly what it really needs to be. If CC announced today that he was moving to the States to train fulltime with AKA or Cesar Gracie or another well-rounded camp, I would expect him to become very threatening in the future.
Vera is being fed to Bones. Country is underrated and gonna beat up Scraper. Manhoef/Cung Le would be the greatest fight of all time; not because it would be competitive, but because Manhoef would annihilate Jackie Chan. Hobbie Brawler luckboxing hurt me tremendously. Manhoef needs to get a fucking ground game so he needs make no adjustments to his striking.
I don't understand the Walker hate. He's super cool and looked amazing for 3 months of training. I look forward to watching him fight when he's more developed. He'll be fighting Fedor eventually anyways. M1 will probably even duck Lashley if he shows sub defense. Skill-wise, Fedor is probably still the GOAT, but with the knew breed of HW which makes him essentially a WW fighting at LHW will be too much for him if he ever fights one (doubt he will). Even guys that aren't way way bigger than him like JDS and Cain look to have talent beyond the best that Fedor's beaten (besides possibly Arlolski)
http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/1739/cybereem2012.jpg
Ubereem in final form = what the mayan's predicted would end the world in 2012
hahah cybereeem. yessssssss
My dream is for Colossareem to demolish all takers in SF and Dream, sign with UFC, win his instant title shot then clean out the entire division
And when there appears to be nobody for GOATereem to face, Zuffa signs Pudz. They fight goes something like:
Pudz Leg Kick of Doom countered by Uberknee countered by Pudz flying bear hug countered by the Ubertine becoming the first fight to end in double submission
Looking forward to GSP v Hardy though I think Hardy is dominated in all areas. Carwin v Mir will be interesting but Mir seems pretty damn motivated and working super hard ever since his Lesnar loss.
112 Card is looking super super sick.
Bones is a monster. Great card last night actually with all 3 of the main fights ending in KO or TKO. The Sakara fight was a little underwhelming but was good while it lasted. Super stoked for the Spring and Summer cards!
PS. Pudz vs. Tim Sylvia might be hilarious or freakin amazing, definitely keeping my eye on that one.
my god why is my mma analysis always correct (i know, right?)
took me quite a while to get off the pretty boy fedor emeliaducko wagon tho, but that type of thing happens
in other news, sounds legit, and if true, i hope pudz takes a huge fight and his face gets smashed into little itty bits
Pudzianowski without a trainer! He claims...he doesn't need one. Really? - Sherdog Mixed Martial Arts Forums
kongo is a clown and needs to get dropped for cowering at the thought at striking with somebody he outstrikes all day only to bend at the waist for zombie takedowns
buentello loves tapping due to body strikes from big black guys
dont like bones, not entirely sure why, probably has to do with liking him would make me a fan of too many black guys, and besides, lhw only has room for one blaxplosive rising star (king mo)
only person in all mma who stands with and beats jds on the feet is ubereem, and that's only due to full clinch rules. take out the clinch and uber will be too big to hang with jds' speed. jds is the real ufc hw titleholder imo. brazilians gotta dominate the entire division to even be considered for title shot, it seems. give him randy's tdd and he makes brock look like a nancy
mousasi light sparring with reporter
YouTube - Gegard Mousasi vs. King Mo (behind the scenes training)
im seriously torn on his fight with mo. im jumping on the king mo wagon pretty hard, but mousasi's super cool and it's impossible to want to root against him
i think part of why i'm probably pulling for mo is i see him going to ufc whereas mousasi has made it sound like he wont. and the problem arises if mous keeps winning outside of ufc there will be literally nobody worth looking forward to him to fight unless he moves up to hw, and i dont think moving to hw would be a good decision since he'll be even smaller than fedor
that stand up in the 2nd round of the Fitch fight was so fucking horrible. NJ fans are idiots.
Carwin dropped some bombs then. I was hoping Mir would survive for a longer fight but lol at the late stoppage. Dana fake smile, could tell he wanted a Mir win to sell the whole "revenge" storyline
lol at Hardys arms, that is all.
Damn the public is so unforgiving. Can't believe people are giving GSP shit (both on the internet and in the post-fight press conference where there was all sorts of talk of how GSP is turing into the Floyd Mayweather of MMA wtf?). While I agreed this wasn't his best performance, he still almost tore Hardy's arm off twice and Hardy was no tomato can.
It must be tough when dominating your opponent for 25 mins but not finishing is a huge letdown to your fans. It seems like it'll be tough to make people happy unless he's fighting Anderson Silva who i think will dwarf him.
Anyway a good night of fights for sure, Carwin is a scary man and him and Lesnar will be two trucks playing chicken.
i need to stop betting on the ufc when i watch it, i clearly don't know enough and usually just pick whoever comes out second !
wooooooooo cant wait for my boi fat country fighting tonight
gmmbb, curious what bets you've made
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/6...narmirbang.gif
yesssssssssssssssss war kung fu fightin fattttttttt country
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/7206/bctrain1.jpg
gads i wish i could stay up tonite to watch the k1 gp. those things are better than most mma cards.
im sure colossareem will get by the first round. just in time to smash assclown buck rodgers in may. fortunately, the new rule eliminating clinch strikes isnt in effect yet. im sure it will be by the time hari fights semmy though
crap i cant wait for the duffman to fight again

http://i41.tinypic.com/2jg14ih.gif
with the correct gameplan, smashereem is the mma hw goat
I would absolutely love to see Maia win by KO, Frankie win by sub, and Renzo win by takedown to GnP
lol at the penn fight.
i dont kno why silva gets so animated for someone to attack him. if he's so good maybe he should punch instead of counterpunch. someone please explain to me why his ability to dance around makes him the greatest ever. i'm sure he could KMaiaTFO if he would just attack. just do that.
wow silva is an epic pussy. maia is a fighter.
Dear Anderson Silva,
Go to K1, get your ass beat; go to Strikeforce or Dream, get smashed by Manhoef; go to LHW, get clowned by Shogun; take that fight with Vitor, take a nap
Silva is a fucking joke. How good is he really? Nobody knows, and now who the fuck cares
According to Ariel, Dana threw down the belt and left in the 4th.
I hope to god that Dana cuts Silva. That would be so unprecedented, yet so perfect. Silva clearly doesn't wanna be a fucking fighter, huh Dana. Drop his ass so he has to go to Japan and get his ass served on a buffet line of strikers who wont take his shit
But even that probably wouldn't work. They'd hafta get Usain Bolt to chase him down I'm sure
where can i watch the fiiiiights?
the fights will be up on here shortly
MMA Videos, Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia, BJ Penn vs. Frankie Edgar
also just use mmahunter or mmalinker to find fights
but dont worry, none of them were stellar, at least none of the big ones
munoz/grove and etim/anjos were fun tho
That is just amazing to me. Silva spends half the time taunting then when Maia tries to engage he bolts the fuck outa there
I cannot believe anybody is defending him. I now want Silvas pompous hypocritical boring ass to get smashed more than anybody. Silva fighting at HW is now my dream because then he will have no option but to get donkey konged
Silva is such a fucking joke. On the one hand he's the 'goat', but on the other hand he can't finish somebody he's supposedly goatier than. he taunts then runs, the only KOs he gets is when his opponent chases after him with inferiority and recklessness
Part of the fun for me being an MMA fan is in having a heel. Normally, the heel for me is a fighter who has the worst nuthuggers due to being either morons or vastly overestimate their gods' skill. Previously, my heels were Brock, Fedor, and GSP simply because I hate their bandwagons, but not anymore. My hatred for Anderson Silva is now about six million times more than any other fighter and his retarded wagon.
The next person to beat Silva becomes my favorite person of all time. It will happen too, Maia thoroughly exposed him for the epic striker he's not. Silva's good enough to pot shot, dance, and run away from sub-level strikers, but when he's in there with somebody who knows wtf theyre doing he's going to get smashed
To me, this also answers the question of how Fedor would do against Silva. IMO, had Fedor fought at LHW all this time, he would not be undefeated yet probably still have the best record anyways, but now I see no way that Fedor wouldn't be the clear favorite vs Silva and his nancy showboating
http://i42.tinypic.com/2hz4ys2.gif
http://i341.photobucket.com/albums/o...o/3f6f6e84.jpg
c'mooooooooonnnnnnn Dana! Sign Manhoef, sign Spong, go offer Badr Hari 1 mil to just come over on a one fight deal to obliterate Silva. DO IT. You know u want to. The man is a piece of shit who whines about everything but then does exactly the opposite of what he says. Show this fuckbag what it's like to not have the luxury of clowning around and making a mockery of something he clearly doesn't give a shit about
Dana's on good terms with Ubereem, maybe use this as an opportunity to sign him more quickly than I suspect he'd planned, then make the Smashereem/Silva superfight I mean the Smashereem on Silva execution by Murderknee.
good ol mirgsy's my new fav ref
http://xs.to/image-C3CF_4BC15B69.gif
Because he's a hater
Oh and knows everything about mma
I actually kinda like GSP. He grew on me a little after his fight with Hardy.
In the first place, it's not that I have dislike for GSP, but that I absolutely fucking hate retarded bandwagons, and he has one of the worst. I get easily irritated when fans treat their favorite fighters like they're gods. Part of why I'm not a big Fedor fan anymore, part of why I'm not a big GSP fan, and part of why I seem to be leaning towards Mo instead of Mousasi (Mous' bandwagon is becoming dangerously close to slurping his jizz straight from the tap)
I also do enjoy some good hatin, and I have strong thoughts about MMA probably because Im normally analytical and if it wasn't for a debilitating injury that forced me out of wrestling, I would probably be an MMA today.
You're so cool to not like something just because everyone else does.
I mean if the 'mainstream' is into something, obviously that something is pedestrian and beneath you.
I dunno, now that the mainstream has turned on silva, will you be forced to like him again, deciding it's once cool again to go against the flow?
He's still easily the best in his class and cherry-picking clips doesn't prove otherwise.
Silva, who won by scores of 50-45, 50-45 and 49-46...
Wait a minute. If pulling those kinds of shennanigans in a ring gets you the win, then you should continue to pull those kinds of shennanigans.
It's like people calling bullshit on you for checkraising someone, or c-betting the shit out of someone who folds 99% of the time after the flop...
If it works, and you're going to make a LOT of money doing it, then you should do it. If they don't like it, they should amend the rules.
That having been said, Silva's a piece of shit.... but I can't bang on him for winning at all costs in a multimillion dollar sport.
Popularity of a fighter does not really affect my appreciation for them. I read a ton of MMA material because I really enjoy the topic, and when I see abysmal, seemingly pathological nuthuggery en masse, I get irritated.
Take for example, Fedor. He's very good. In fact, he's arguably the most overall talented MMA of all time. But if you talk to his nuthuggers he's this unstoppable force that flies out of the ring after he eviscerates his opponents. Yet when you examine the game, you see that he's actually not head and shoulders above many other fighters despite appearances. I'm fine with hyperbole when it's pertinent, but when attempting to analyze the game, hyperbole needs to take a back seat. The problem is that among the vast majority of MMA fans, hyperbole does not take a back seat during the analytical process, and it just gets retarded how over or underrated fighters get.
As for Silva, let's see how well he does the first time he fights somebody with elite level striking who is not intimidated by him. Also, Silva has tricked a whole lot of people simply by virtue of being the only person who goes out there to dance around. I recall Werdum doing some 'matrix' stuff vs Big Foot, but nobody noticed because the angle was bad and he wasn't making a spectacle of it like Anderson does. It's not like Silva has the market cornered on athleticism and talent. In fact, I think that Maia does a whole ton better in a rematch simply due to not being intimidated and knowing that his gameplan must involve lots of striking. Watch the 4th and 5th again, Maia opened up his striking a little bit, Silva was not gassed (despite what Rogan says, unless you think a gassed fighter will throw out spinning back kicks), yet Maia showed that he could hang with at least the Silva that fought those rounds. Maia probably even won those rounds
That is true, and it's a shame. I honestly feel that if a fighter 'coasts' to victory judges should be allowed to score against them
OTOH, Silva's decision to coast, while it may appear intelligent in a vacuum, is actually ridiculously stupid. His boss doesn't like him and he's not a big draw because he makes decisions like this. In fact, he has probably lost a shitload of fans due to this fight, and that really hurts his purse.
