I have never been to Cape Verde, but I can advise [link removed] because there is a lot of information here that may be useful to you. Have you ever played at pokies?
Mod note - please don't post links to unknown sites as a new member.
I love seeing automated backlink building in the wild.
Have you heard about Poker Stars? Or are you interested in any unknown platforms?
In this case, the basic format is as follows:
1. Someone creates mass numbers of forum accounts across different sites on the Internet using automated tools. They sit in a database until they are sold.
2. The person who buys the log-ins throws them into a piece of software that automates the following:
3. Ask a question on one account.
4. Another account comes in with an answer and a link on another account.
5. Repeat 4 as necessary to make it look like there's an actual discussion.
The most popular piece of software for this is XRumer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XRumer
But why? Just to get people to take the link? Or is there a deeper motive to this? It's a lot of effort really, and if they're buying accounts, there must be something in it for them.
I mean honestly, this is fascinating. I always wondered why these accounts pop up but I assumed it was individuals just trying to get people to take their link, like an affiliate, which amused me because nobody will likely even read it before it's gone, so their effort was wasted. If it's obviously spam and not poker related I just ban them and I regularly ban people, at least one a month, but if it's poker related I edit the link out and leave them be because, frankly, the site is dead and I don't want boot potential new members.
Should I be banning them all on sight? I'm not stupid enough to take their links, but if there's a risk of people coming here and getting attacked with malware or ransomware or whatever, I have a duty to do my best to stop that from happening.
I see. I really am dumb on this subject, I even had to google SEO. Just knowing what the means sheds light on the matter.
I mean so long as it's not malicious links, I don't really give a fuck. I'm not going to play cat and mouse with these accounts.
its why i instaban these <10 post accounts once the link appears
if you google the text you usually find it platered across lots of forums and is why they are so generic in their text. it kind of applies in any situation but is also meaningless usually
I just banned that latest one, largely because I wanted to practice banning people through the mod console.
