Because bankroll management. My BR is around $300, so if I win a ticket, and maybe $50 prize, well that's an effective BR of $450. Is that sufficiently rolled to play a $109 game? Of course not, so I'm taking variance head on and hoping for the best. On the other hand, I could unreg, and use the touney $'s to play ten Sunday Storms instead.

That's why I hope I can't unreg, because then it's out of my hands and I can play the target game with total freedom.

it is what it is. IF the value to win the ticket is there and you can't unreg so be it.

I was just moaning because I had zero fold equity vs the donks on my table so had the option of blinding out or getting it in with QJs and hoping to not be dominated by KJ or some shit.

Value of the game was outstanding. I would have loved a ticket. If I could've unreg'ed, I'd have probably played the main event as a one time baby game.
