it blows my mind how strong gorillas are relative to humans. muscle mass wise, we're only a couple times smaller, but strength wise we're not even in the same ballpark. the biggest silverbacks can lift up to 5000 pounds. probably more given that they probably never fully exert themselves during measurable lifts.
