i think rockets get out if the first round this year
Celts are pretty screwed without Garnett.. hmm I say lebron carries the cavs pretty far.
yes! its that time in the year again where we see the refs hand every game to the spurs on a silver platter.
Can't believe the Rockets fell from a potential 2 seed to a 5 seed. OWTF.
Meh, whatevs. BOOOOH TO THE MAVS!!!
(Go Magic?)
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....fuck theres no one I want to win. Like Go Magic because they have JJ but like thats it.
fuck the pistons and spurs.
lets go heat imo
boston is doomed today b/c I bet on them
You must be a Duke fan....because noooooone like Reddick, I think he's a transvestite or somethingQuote:

Ahh lebitch. Words of genius.
"what was the key to blowing the game open and making that final run?"
"well we made some defense stops and made some shots at the other end of the court"
That Dallas game took all the wind out of my sails.Quote:

Lol Yaoaments. Portland has no answer
Most people will look at that box score and think he had a decent game, not realizing that he posted most of those numbers in the first half. I don't recall if he got any boards or went to the line in the 2nd half, but he certainly didn't attempt any FGs (on account of him sitting on the bench most of the time).Quote:

Da Bulls.
That is all.
Ive kinda picked to support Boston before the playoffs started, didnt know they were last season champs or KG was injured. I swear it was just Irish link and why not. They dont look to good at all, we may still get thru first round but after that i dont think we can take down another team.
lakers are gonna go thru. next magic game could be a classic.
another sick game tonight
I'll take the chakewalk in SA
going to be interesting to see how all these game 3's shake out
Celts/Bulls game was pretty damn awesome. I am a Celts fan and we are certainly in trouble w/out Garnett but getting past the Bulls is a decent possibility, after that who knows.
it's time for boston to see than 2 players aren't enough to win NBA title ... go west !
I only saw the highlights of this game, but looked like there was no D at all.. just raining 3's!Quote:

I know TV ratings blah blah blah but having the mavs/spurs on nba tv is such a bad decision
good thing I live in Dallas so I get to watch it
sup guys, fun so far
TP has gotten like no press this year. lolstandard for the spurs I guess
Dwyane Wade is the man.
Billups is the man...
Billups/TP>CP3/DWill so far and neither of them get much love. Paul has been ridiculously disappointing and Williams is just up against too tough a match-up for his supporting crew.
I'm convinced now that Chauncey should be a Hall of Famer.
I'm thrilled to see Kobe put up a 5-for-24 game.
GO BOSTON

great series, no stress (except maybe Q4 game 2)Quote:

Pathetic and I don't blame the Pistons fans for not showing up, b/c their team didn't either.
Ya you could just tell the whole series the Pistons played generally uninspired basketball. The series was over before it started, really.Quote:

Rockets to round 2? Please?
I am in love with the Celtics/Bulls playoff series. How can a round 1 game between non-rivals be SO INTENSE?!?!
There have now been more OT periods played than games played. That's insane. And if you discount game 3, the two teams have scored pretty much the exact same amount of points: except that Chicago has 1 more.
fuck chicago
amazing game 6 in chicago. noah's dunk got me out of my mofuggin chair
Brad f Miller. What a beast.
Also JJ making it rainnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Da Bulls.
That is all, again.
Come on Bulls One Time ! ! ! !
GO BOSTON BABY YEA
sadly if bulls cause us trouble then next round is gonna be so hard
IDK about that. The Bulls are a much better team than everyone thinks.Quote:

only game I didn't watch was the game 3 blowout. Yes, Rose had a lot of great moments, too bad Ben didn't let him have more. It was painful to watch Gordon black-hole the Bulls out of contention a few times in Game 7. I guess live/die by the sword but he was also a huge liability of defense.Quote:

Ya i pretty much agree with all of this.Quote:

I think I'm the only person that feels BOS is gonna roll ORL
I think I'm the only person, who after watching the first round playoff series, feels that CLE is going to roll whoever wins that series. I don't really think it matters much (I'd prefer BOS though).Quote:

go cavvvvvvvvvvvvs!
I'm actually worried about this game. 10 days off or whatever it's been is ridiculoussssss
the rapist really took over in the fourth tonight. fuck. oh well, going back to h-town 1-1, im happy.
wow those were two sick games, I crashed early last night and missed the magic comeback, espn.com might have had the worst highlights ever, as the didn't even show the last 2 minutes which were the illest.
thank god for nba.com I guess
yea I was TOTALLY shocked (but glad) when I saw the Magic win last night
MAGIC CAN SUCK MY BALLS GATOR
yeaaaahhhahhhh magic
don't you have a futball game to go watch?Quote:

even when they aren't getting screwed out of a call, you think they are because of sideshow stan.
i dislike the game of basketball but i have quickly become a huge lebron james fan. He's just good solid entertainment.
they definitely caught the short end of the stick (I watched the replay of the game) last night, especially Mr. Howard. Foul #6 might have been one of the worst calls in the playoffs this year, and that's saying a lot. It's like the refs don't understand the context of the game sometimes, w/e, glad it didn't cost ORL, b/c now this should be a great series.Quote:

people keep saying this is going to be a good learning experience for the cavs. maybe, but i wish they wouldn't have had to LOSE A HOME GAME FOR THAT TO HAPPEN.
much better would be 2 easy wins at home followed by a 30 point blowout loss in orlando, instead of a close loss in game 1.
good ball denial on Kobe or Fisher took that shot way too early?
mogic are the more talented team in the league
yeah, the other team sucksQuote:

I think the Magic will have a huge letdown tonight and we'll go back to ORL 1-1; however, if they somehow manage to bring the same intensity in game 2 and eek another one out we could be on the verge of a colossal meltdown by CLE.
WHERES THE FUCKING TECH?

3) He accepts the blame for his mistakes, and owns them.
4) Unlike Koby, he's a model citizen in Cleveland. 1 DUI total since he's turned 21? He's also never raped anyone big plus in my book, yeah Koby I'm talking about you again.
Hell I didn't even like the Cavs until Lebron came to Cleveland. I'm still a die hard Nuggets fan, but he's the kind of sports hero you *like* to root for. I also enjoyed Cheering for Michael Jordan, Brett Favre, and Joe Montana when they weren't pounding 8 tons of shit out my team.
In fact I'll pretty much root for anyone who's really good at what they do, doesn't kick up a primadonna attitude, and helps out their community.
HEDO FUCKING TURKOGLU.
HELLS YEAH
And the cruel gods continue to stick the needle in me after being down 5 bi today.

hah Cavs fans can thank me for reverse-jinxing Lebron
SVG said they defended it wrong, I disagree, having LBJ take a fadeaway 25-footer with a hand in his face is probably a better result EV wise than West or Williams getting an open look.
Lol I'm fine with the reverse jinx,
but WTF on everyone trying to call Lebron the "New 23"? When he has 5 championship rings, and is making a million dollars per basketball game, I'll be all like "Michael Jordan, wasn't he Lebron James' coach or something like that?"
Michael Jordan has six rings.
I won't say I hate it, but I really dislike the NBA for the fact that you can tune into a game during the last six minutes (hell, maybe last two minutes) and see the game decided. Not just that, but it's a quick back-to-back sort of way, with timeouts/fouls/buckets all around. Usually the last two minutes take twenty minutes to play in actual time.....I don't like that.
I like baseball, defense vs. offense nine times (unless the home team wins) and every inning counts. I looooove baseball, but I know it's not for everybody, and don't watch it as often as the NFL...
I loooooove watching the NFL because it's offense vs. defense, one last showdown. Yeah the last two minutes might take 20 minutes but there is no change of possession. Offense vs. defense, man up.
I really hope to see a Cavs/Lakers final. Kobe vs. Lebron would be awesome. If one makes it, I might care for a bit......but if they both make it (casual fan here), I'll watch every game.
(EDIT: Closer to the Lebron vs. Kobe, Lakers up 2-1)
Kobe.
That is all.
2 good series in the first 12, luckily these conference finals are making up for it.
This doesn't look good for Cleveland at all. Orlando presents huge matchup problems for them...for anyone, really. I don't think the Cavs can win this series if they have Z chasing guys around on the perimeter and Mo Williams is shooting 32%.
Since they're going to give him more than his share of fouls, the only solution I see is for LeBron to take it hard to the hoop every possession and hope to get Turk and Howard in foul trouble early and often.
LEBRON
