I know you big wigs are working behind the scene's, but some thoughts.

1) Make people register for the freeroll forum, ala the gauntlet, so one doesn't get auto added just by writing a spamming script
2) Don't post passwords 10 days in advance so the window for abuse is smaller

i like the gauntlet idea. and #2 won't have too much effect, but it would be worth a shot

I'm not authorized for tonight's freeroll. Although I haven't been here long, I've been active daily. I am far from a freeroll hunter. I lack the experience and poker knowledge to give advice to others, but I browse all sections. With my bankroll in its current state, I could use a shot a free $$$. Thanks in advance. IF WE DON"T KNOW YOU WE DON"T TELL YOU THE PASSSWORD. COME BACK LATER AND HANG OUT. ONLY THEN WILL WE EVER TELL YOU. AND DON'T ASK FOR IT, IT ONLY SHOWS THAT YOU ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE PASSWORD AND NOT FTR

i really think it is odd for a guy who asks for help and then he gets talked ot like a freeroll whore.when he is just trying to get answers on how to become a memeber that can play and explained that only to get more grief from the i guess all time super great people here..except for the ones that truly wrote a response to help the poor guy.as i didnt see the answers ot his questions posted anywhere in the forum.maybe a page that describes what it takes to become a member that can play in the forum games would be a exellent start.

all the answers you need are in the forum under freeroll for memebers it answers pretty much what you need to know to become a valued member.
as i can understadn why they have it as all these people just come in here and beg for pw.but not all that come in here beg for them and this is directed to those who want to really understadn how to do things.
i mean i just came here a hour ago and found the answers needed not that i care to play in the tourneys as i dont.just to see how this site works and see if i like it enough to be a apart of it.but i hope that answers yo uin some way on how to become a valued member.

Man, that's ridiculous. I wanted to play but 1AMGMT was a bit late. Glad I missed it in the end, cos it's all about playing with FTR'Rs and busting rilla or chard ;).

PM's sound A LOT better IMO. I don't know how that will work but maybe theres something that can be worked out lol. Me flomo and crackedaces were at one table FULL of mexican speaking guys who OBVIOUSLY werent apart of FTR. Also, maybe a lil harder password next time would help imo lol.

ok there is no real way to stop the people from passing out the freeroll pw by pms as the same perosn wil;l just give it out then to
i to had this problem when i had my forum going on.
the only way to prevent it and it worked was to send a list to the tourney director at said site.then no one wh o is not eligable to play can not play perioed as if your no on the list then you cant play.so it would be my suggestion to make a list of eligable players and send the list to tourney director atr whatever site it is and say these are the people that can play and no one else.maybe they can give a coupon or just make a privat tourney with a list.
it worked for me when i did it.
anyway that will solve all your problems on your pw getting passed around.

Someone had to have leaked the password. I only recognized 1 person on my table. And we (chardrian and I) even asked for everyones FTR name, but nobody responded!

Maybe this can be handled by PM's in the future Perhaps? this is ridiculous...

Knew it, i was speccing the tournament a few minutes after it started, and i was really wondering how so many brazilians could participate, i knew someone was giving the password away, could be fun to find that **** and get him banned.

As some has suggesting, i think it would work better with PM.
Like at railbirds.com you automaticlly get the password if you diserve it.

Hope this problem will be solved soon so that we wont have to live with those thieves anymore.
