Uh well if you are trying to prevent pregnancy, pulling out <<< condom
Women don't REALLY get pregnant. That's all a myth. The truth of the matter is that there's only one minute in the entire month that women can get pregnant...or something like that.
Pulling out imo.
Does anyone suggesting withdrawel > pulling out actually have kids?
I do, and fuck that shit! No pill means we're using condoms.
link is NSFW and hilarious, pornstar Bree Olsons twitter
some condoms are from the bowels of satan himself, others are actually quite good. the good ones cant be found without diligence
Saw TSO over the weekend for the first time.
Insanely good concert. If you haven't seem them live it's def worth it!

pretty excited to see what the best rotation ever on paper can do next year. blanton sucks terribly but halladay/lee/oswalt/hamels holyyyyyyyyyyyyy shit.
someone take ibanez somehow plz
If Beckett and Lackey can rebound we will have a formidable rotation as well but that's just sick
you worded this in a really strange way... do you enjoy sex?
also someone mentioned that pulling out ins like 70% effective.. I would take that statistic with a grain of salt. You have you wonder how they came upon that number. Was it through survey? Or did they actually have lab tests? If through survey were people who did not realize you needed to piss between orgasms to clear the urethra of semen disqualified from the survey?
I agree catching the herp is worse than knocking up a girl, but I'm not sure its worse than knocking up a girl who wants to have the baby... Obviously this is dependent on the girl (that you will be forced to have some sort of relationship with for the rest of your life.) Either would suck immensely though.
The number is from a textbook of sociology course that I took in university. I did not bother to look how they got that number so I have no idea! If you wanna know really badly, I can send you the book ;)
I take all numbers with a grain of salt. The point is that it is about 25% less effective than condoms at preventing pregnancy. 1 out of 4 times is a lot...
it = the "pulling out method"
"pulling out" = ejaculating outside of her body
pg 114!
I think that the 70% (which is obviously an average) takes into account that the guy might not pull out perfectly every single time, but I'm not sure. Too lazy to look. Usually the % you see in stats doesn't take into account human error. So condoms are really only 97% (or whatever the number is) in theory. In reality they're probably only like 85-90% effective because people don't always use them correctly or they break etc etc
it's a good thing you and your bf practice abstinence
SEX CAN WAIT...MASTURBATE
Pretty much any sex statistic in a health book is a blatant lie meant to promote abstinence in young people. For example I was taught in grade school that if you have sex with a person who has HIV you are automatically slam dunk 100% fucked. I didn't find out until I was in my 20s that the odds are in the hundreds that you'll catch it unless you have open sores all over your penis or vice versa.
pg 57 like a boss.
57 ftw
From what I've read this is incorrect. There is only sperm in precum if you have recently ejaculated and have not urinated since. So the sperm isn't so much in the precum but in the urethra and the precum picks it up and pushes it out. Again, I am not 100% on this, but when I have some time later today I may try to find some links to support it. Either way, if we accept the 70 or 80% success rate as true, its still pretty damn good if you are in a serious relationship so STDs aren't a concern and the two of you have discussed "what if" and are on the same page about how to proceed.
This sounds like one of those things that guys want to be true but isn't.
edit but a quick google search shows you might be right.
From here: is there sperm in precum? >> Medical Questions, Weight Loss, Pregnancy, Drugs, Health InsuranceQuote:
That said, research that has examined the content of pre-ejaculatory fluid has rarely found sperm present in it. This does not mean that sperm is never present in pre-ejaculatory fluid; it just means that it does not appear to typically be present. In your case, since your boyfriend did not ejaculate in the days before your encounter, it is unlikely there were any sperm "left over" in his urethra. We can assume that though he did not ejaculate in the days before your sexual encounter, he probably did urinate, thus likely clearing his urethra of any sperm. However, if you would like more certainty, consider getting a pregnancy test through your campus health center or a local family planning clinic.
Sorry, had two and couldn't decide which to go with.
Either way, would be interested in the data. The point is still "it could" though, regardless of circumstance and that contributes to the 70% number. It's not like you can increase the effectiveness of the method by "doing it right".
As you say though, maybe an acceptable risk for people who are willing to live with the consequences. For everyone else whose lives would be screwed by a surprise baby or worse, it's a stupid and irresponsible choice.
WHAT?!
"It's not like you can increase your winrate by improving your poker game."
Do you not see how this statement is pure failure?
Uh ya.. I've covered this.. don't go around barebacking every sloot, but if you either A) are ok with having a baby with the person or B) as sure as you can be that she is on the same page with you about getting an abortion, then it's ok.Quote:

I really don't get how you people can be so dense. I'm not looking to trick myself into thinking its ok just because it feels better. Several people keep using this 70% statistic and have no clue where it is from or how the researchers came to it. If they are including dumbfucks who haven't done their due diligence, then the success rate could be drastically higher for people who are "doing it right." Why is this so hard to grasp?
so much anger
Horrible, horrible comparison. You either nut inside the girl or you don't. You've either pulled out or you haven't. Unless you can enlighten me on a scenario where someone has pulled out worse than someone else but still enough for it to qualify as pulling out, it's pretty black and white.
Yep, that's sometimes what happens when people agree on something, they end up talking about the same stuff.
From what I have read urination between ejaculations is key to the pull out method working. This seems to be news to a lot of people, therefore I am proposing that the results may be skewed by people who have "successfully" pulled out in time, but have not urinated between ejaculations, and therefore the girl gets preggo.
Also if you are saying that the issue is just: pulling out, not preggo versus pulling out late/not pulling out, preggo. Then you clearly can be "better" at the method.
fair enough.Quote:

There's a pretty simple scenario actually, and that's if you pull out too late, or after the first 'shot' so to speak. This is just a hunch, but I bet that is a lot more common than most people realize and people still consider it pulling out, even if it almost certainly wouldn't meet the medical definition of what pulling out is supposed to be.
I edited this post like 4 times because of reading comprehension fail.
I already said that my statistic is from a university textbook that HAS all the methods and references included in the book, but I simply can't be bothered to look. If it's a stat that comes from a published source, though (ie. a journal), then it will have been through research in a controlled setting.
I totally agree that "pulling out" is good enough if you're prepared to face the consequences if you get 2 outed or whatever. There's always gonna be a risk, it's just a matter of how much of a risk people wanna take.
you all know a lot about cum and sperem, i wish i was well versed with male ejectulites

Qur'an etched in Saddam Hussein's blood poses dilemma for Iraq leaders | World news | The Guardian
"Over the course of two painstaking years in the late 1990s, Saddam Hussein had sat regularly with a nurse and an Islamic calligrapher; the former drawing 27 litres of his blood and the latter using it as a macabre ink to transcribe a Qur'an."
I was just running through some monopoly odds and came across a few interesting tidbits:
the red set actually has a higher expectation than the yellow set when fully developed. this boggled my mind at first.
in particular, a hotel on illinois avenue is better than any other property except for 3+ houses on boardwalk. it's about the same as pennsylvania avenue and both are better than park place. 'better' in this context is defined simply as highest expectation paid per roll, without taking into context game situations. in practice, getting paid more frequently has further benefits.
obvoiusly there is the advance to illinois card, but there has to be some other factors too (they weren't listed on the site). e.g. 14 squares away from jail (7 being the most likely roll), gets the most hits from jail-goers besides the orange set, more likely to get hit from pennsylvania railroad, etc.
also, as anyone who has ever played monopoly surely already knows, the orange really is the most useful set (taking into account many factors, it may be different in a specific game).

Gearing up for a holiday Monopoly smackdown with the fam?
One of the most legit acts I've ever read about: BBC News - Colombia army gives Farc rebels early Christmas gift
Quote:
Special forces infiltrated the remote Macarena mountain range to dress a 25m (82ft) high tree with 2,000 lights.
Movement sensors will make the tree light up when guerrillas approach.
The army says it will put up trees in nine other rebel-held zones to spread the message that Christmas is a good time to abandon armed struggle.
Thanks, Warpe. Always good to watch something like that every now and then
Some women may see 100 million colors, thanks to their genesQuote:
He estimated that 2 percent to 3 percent of the world's women may have the kind of fourth cone that lies smack between the standard red and green cones, which could give them a colossal range.

get some more cones in you and you too will see the world in technicolor
I have a dysfunctional family, and a question occurred to me today. Would you rather have people act ridiculously fake at Christmas dinner, like nothing is going wrong and have things go smoothly, or have people be real and possibly have shit hit the fan?
Kind of debating. Ready for anything tomorrow.
how about MEXICAN TRAIN smackdown
oh yeah
life is gooooood, you have no idea. our little one coming into our lives has been awesome.
my family situation is sticky tomorrow, I'm going in with the intent to have a good time but it will be hard to do that. parents got divorced within the last year and a half, god that fucks up families. glad I'm 31 and not 14 trying to handle everything...but because I'm older I have a better perspective and can say/do more now. kind of a double edged sword. we'll see how it goes tomorrow, should be interesting.
